Numerous customers are alleging their pre-orders of the Gears of War 4 special editions are being delayed by Amazon on the day they're supposed to be delivered: today.
Taking to a Reddit thread (NSFW language) to voice their frustrations, customers have reported that delivery of both the $99.99 Ultimate Edition and the $249.99 Collector's Edition have been delayed to as late as next Wednesday. The reason for such frustration being, pre-ordering the premium editions of the game was supposed to guarantee early access to Gears of War 4, which doesn't release officially until next Tuesday, October 11.
