LEGO Mario Kart – Luigi & Mach 8 Is Now Available
- Price: $179.99
- Pieces: 2,234
- Ages: 18+
- Set #: 72050
We loved the big Mario & Standard Kart set that we built when it came out last year (you can grab it here on Amazon if you want the pair). This new Luigi set has the Mario brother driving the Mach 8 kart, complete with flames coming out the back. It’s an impressive-looking set, and one that would go great on the shelf of any Mario Kart fan. For more, check out our picks for the best LEGO Nintendo sets.
BrickHeadz: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Figures Are Now Available
- Price: $39.99
- Pieces: 567
- Ages: 10+
- Set #: 40878
The LEGO BrickHeadz series is a fun one. It’s basically LEGO’s take on Funko Pops, in that it offers stylized versions of characters from pop culture. This one collects big-headed versions of the four heroes in a half-shell, and they look pretty great.
LEGO Star Wars: New Republic X-Wing Starfighter Is Now Available
- Price: $69.99
- Pieces: 558
- Ages: 9+
- Set #: 75460
I’m not sure why LEGO isn’t releasing on April 26, along with all the LEGO Star Wars sets aimed at the May the Fourth holiday. But I’m never going to mind getting another cool X-Wing ship ahead of schedule. This set has you build an awesome X-Wing decked out in the blue New Republic color scheme. It comes with two minifigures (Colonel Ward and Carson Teva) as well as an R2 unit.

Douglas DC-3 PAN AM Airliner Is Now Available
- Price: $219.99
- Pieces: 1,903
- Ages: 18+
- Set #: 11378
Airplane enthusiasts will enjoy this one. It’s a faithful replica of the classic twin-engine plane from PAN AM. It has retractible landing gear, along with a detailed cockpit and passenger cabin, with removable panels so you can see inside. The exterior features the aircraft’s 1950s color scheme, and the four included minifigs have historical PAN AM uniforms.
LEGO Ideas: Tintin Moon Rocket
- Price: $159.99
- Pieces: 1,283
- Ages: 18+
- Set #: 21367
Tintin is a classic comic series created by the Belgian cartoonist Hergé in the 1929. It’s one of the most popular comics ever published, even if it’s not super well known among the kids of today. This set pays homage to the comic, with a gorgeous checkered red and white rocket ship. It comes with five minifigures as well.
