Ive had about 10 mods. I compared the drag 2 against the aegis and against the tesla 2. All 3 I cudnt tell the difference. The tesla is the newest one out and claims to be the fastest. Are all mods so fast now u cant tell a difference? I mean how faster can u get when ur in miliseconds. They fire faster then mechs. I like the aegis cause its durable. I like the tesla cause its light. I gave away the drag 2 cause the paint chipped. But I dont notice a difference in any of them.

I'm not really sure. I remember reading a lot of Drag owners claiming how fast it fired. Then Geekvape Nova owners saying just as fast as the Drag... I actually got a Nova and it just seems like any other mod. Maybe people didn't realize that mesh coils tend to heat up almost instantly.. I dont know. I don't have a problem with any of my mods firing too slow.
I have the nova to. It has the same chip as the aegis. Tanks do fire instantly but I didnt know a difference with an rda either.
Well, there ya go. Sounds like it's a marketing thing to me. Chips these days all fire up pretty good. I'll step aside now because I haven't really been paying attention. I mean I haven't really tried tests or thought about it deeply.

the response of the fire button is really down to two factors first is the chip be it yihi, dna,mosfet or other. the second is the rest of the circuit mods power drop or efficiency most these days ar in the 90% which is good, The batteries charge and sag in some cases and even the coil all of it.
Most of it is marketing gimmicks. Other things that will affect firing speed, the wattage and the mass of the coils. I've never had a real issue with 'firing speed' or a need for a mod to 'hit hard'. It either fires at the wattage I want or it doesn't, it's not some sort of race for me. Also likely helpful that I make my coils from thinner gauge stainless, fused claptons with either 28g or 30g cores and thinner 38g ni80 wraps. As opposed to 24ga cores with 30 or 32ga wraps which take a lot more power to get heating. They're more responsive in thinner gauges.
Like cars and their whole 0-60mph. How often do people come to a full stop on a freeway then just floor it to hurry up and keep up with traffic and if there's a one second difference will it matter? No.
