Stage actor Michael Chernus has joined the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming, to star as The Tinkerer.
Deadline reports that Chernus will play Phineas Mason in Homecoming, the brilliant inventor and super-villain who goes by the alias The Tinkerer. He will join Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya and Donald Glover in the film.
Chernus is an accomplished stage actor, but is probably best known for his role as Piper Chapman's brother Cal in the Netflix series Orange is the New Black.
