So if you were getting a very dark burl wood Limelite Freehand S made, would you want it just micromeshed or clearcoated? Most of the nice stabwood Freehands I see are clearcoated.
Edit: BTW, I might have a hardware addiction. Also if I used the wrong term for the wood grain or color please clue me in, thanks.

I might try one out just because of the relatively low cost, but I don't have super high hopes for it as a squonk atomizer. I generally prefer very shallow juice wells for bottom feeding and this one is DEEP.

Idk if you saw pics or not, but the pin sticks up a good 3-4mm past the deck
depends on the wood type, but natural waxed most times
Stabilized wood isn't going to feel much like wood, so you might as well get the looks a clear coat will produce.
With natural wood, there's very much a trade-off between the look of a clear coat vs. the hand-feel of an oil/wax finish.
I'm having second thoughts about it that's why I asked for opinions or help. I basically requested it to be natural if it looks ok, clearcoated if the piece ended up revealing itself to need it.

I think all the pics and reviewer samples are preproduction.They had to send the 510s out to some reviewers separately.Hopefully they sort that out before it hits the market

I quite like the 22mm Troll v2 as a squonk attie. It does have a freaking 10mm deep well. But I've had zero issues, running it in z-coil mode mostly

I hate it too. Maybe I should try the stuff Juicy has. I did also get some triple core fused claptons that I LOVE though - the 30g x3 wrapped with 40g. It's not twisted. It's awesome though.
