so you think that ill have the same issue? so what would be a good mod to use for the peerless? should I do a lower ohm build?
Also think that im ordering a hadaly or a velocity today. Also whats a good mech squonker that I wont have to take out a second mortgage on lol
The Hadaly is a really flavorful single coil RDA, I run one on my Inbox with NiFe70 under temperature control.

Sorry for the webcam picture... ;)

Tipped over. Cart ordered after some serious clearing out (it's been building up for a while, lol).

En route:
- Wasp Nano
- Advken Gorge
- Ducky chew toy for ma kitteh
- a couple driptips. Can't have too many drip tips...

I'll wait for your review of the Wasp. :)

Still, you are doing me a solid so compensation is coming. Hell I might snag the other orca from you too.

The better half talked me off the ledge (like I suspected she would) and I'm sorting out another order from Floris, so we could get a door in the color you want, even the original. Fitment chances aren't any worse than the brown one.
If you can deal with the octorca for a few weeks we can get you all sorted out in something you'd prefer rather than settle for.

Edit: you can still have the brown door if you want it!

I'm so glad she talked some sense into you! Some people are just going to be jerks, no matter what you do in life. And a lot of the people that squawk about prices just don't understand what goes into quality. That's fine though, there are products for them. Don't let them get you down, just remember that there are many people (myself included) that truly appreciate what you do. I consider the mods that you've crafted for me to be bargains. And I'll be talking to you about adding to the collection soon now that you've decided to continue! :)

Anyone here have any experience with the No Name No Pain RDA? Have one coming to me this week and most the reviews on YouTube are in Italian

Quick question for those of you that own a Wraith and use TC and/or power modes. is there a noticeable difference in battery life?

I have several DNA 200 squonkers (Catfish Attys), I do not notice any difference in battery life....therefore I just use power mode.

Same with the Wraith...no discernable difference.
Thank you for the reply, I prefer to use TC because they don't have a SS mode/alert ( that is not SS for Stainless Steel, it is SS for Squonk, Stupid!)

The only review I found that I had no problem understanding is this one and you'll see why
As you said, the others are in Italian and the one I started watching I had to stop 'cause that guy must've had vocal diarrhea.

Hmmmmm....
FINALLY happy with Hadaly!

I went for it "full on" when it came out, based on design - authentic, black cap, ultem cap, and drip tips. Then was "meh" because I got an "OK" vape, and got gurgling airholes, with several different builds. Until now. It's a no-brainer build, but just different enough from what I'd tried to make the difference.

I can't vape SS, and I vape mechs - so I often vape kanthal duals, at about 0.5. In the Hadaly, I tried thicker wire, tried twisted, had been vaping parrallell recently. Same - not happy.

But now, finally, it's blasting flavor and I must have wicked it better (a little thicker than usual, still just lying on deck) cuz I'm not getting juice in the airway.
24 guage kanthal, 3mm, 5 spaced wraps, legs up :)))!

Really nice - like sippin warmed up juice...

Hey! I bought a nice bottle of port the other day! Crackin' it to celebrate.

I've found that wicking makes a bigger difference than anything in the Hadaly. I've been able to put any type of coil in just about any position and it's always performed just fine, but every once in awhile I get the wicking *just right* and it's killer!

Still slightly annoyed with their drip tip - it's a leeeetly too tight.
I suppose I could pop off (or sand down) an o-ring - but still - a Psyclone Hadaly drip tip ought to fit a Psyclone Hadaly perfectly, riiiiiiight?
(I'm running some other tip, probably a $2 fasttech tip...not really sure...)

Those drip tips are aggravating. When the o-rings bunch up trying to get the tip onto the cap :xD::xD:
I've found twisting to help with getting them in and out, but not to lessen the aggravation.

Although on the flip side; I fucking hate a wobbly drip tip. So there. I'm unhappy no matter what lol

Ya gotta twist it.
annoys me just to type it :giggle:

That did it! But it was a pain to twist too! So tight!

Anyway, speaking of Hadalys, I ordered some clones from different manufacturers to mess around with and compare to my authentics. A couple of them, SXKs from FT, arrived today. And one of them is.... unique. It has EIGHT air holes on the top cap! I think someone fell asleep on the job!

Sweet Jesus. So, like, do the holes all have a place in the airflow scheme or is it just a "go home cap, you're drunk" type situation?

They line up in pairs, kinda. But yeah, it's really more the latter. I monkeyed with it long enough to find a set of 4 that get really close and still plug most of the others. Not a big deal though, I have some extra ultem and acrylic caps that fit. Besides, these clones were really just to play around with. I figure I use the hadalys so much it's nice to have a few extra decks around to experiment with builds on without ripping an otherwise good coil out of one I'm using.

It IS pretty entertaining though. I'll try and remember to take a pic tomorrow when I've got some better light to show off my factory custom one-off.

Pix fer sure.

Maybe it's like that buffalo nickel, where the buffalo has 5 legs, or the upside down airplane stamp, and worth a bunch of money!!

Glad to hear your happiness with the Hadaly. Is this a single coil or still a parallel? And, how large of spaces do you use?

I need to get some 24 gauge Kanthal. I've noticed several places where folks are using it with good results.

I haven't had it happen with the black delrin ones, but the Ultem ones do this to me. Just like @Train said, sticking up a fraction of a mm on one side.

I have yet to stray with the great looking accessories - haven't seen them for sale on too many sites though

I've got a question. Ever since I started vaping I always thought that getting any liquid in the 510 is bad. I know electricity and water don't mix lol. It's a squonker pin and not a regular 510 but getting liquid on it could cause a short. Wouldn't that apply on a sqonker mod?

The juice we use isn't water, and it's very non-conductive, especially at the voltage we use. It won't cause a short, but if you let it sit on there too long, it can get caked up and give you the opposite problem, a poor connection. Just swab it out every now and then with a q-tip and you'll be fine!

I always clean the 510 connection and make sure there's no liquid on it. It's kind of a lost cause to make sure there's no liquid on it on a squonker lol. Thanks for the info. I know very little on squonking...yet

Water isn't conductive either unless it's got something dissolved in it that turns it into an electrolyte full of free ions. PG and VG are much less polar than water, so they aren't as effective at turning dissolved materials (flavorings and such) into the separate ions that make for good conductivity. Disclaimer: I am not a chemist. If there's one in the house who wishes to elaborate on this or correct me in some way, I won't be offended.

I think the constant motion of juice through the 510 in a squonker prevents that. At least, I've never had a problem with juice "caking" in any of my squonk mods.

What I was saying I'd if liquid somehow manages to get on the wire to the 510. It will corode it over time which could cause a short. If your using a mechanical that would be bad.
