I've still got 4 tube mods, though all are relegated to Vapocalypse stash -- 2 Sigelei Zmax flat-tops, which suit me fine because I vape at 9.5w most of the time, and 2 tube mechs, a Fallen Angel, and a Galileo, for which I also have 5 stashed Kicks, because as a low-wattage vaper, I need that regulation. But I got tired of tube mods falling over, rolling off, etc etc etc. I've used nothing but box mods since... hmm... March of 2015 I think. All regulated, of course. Since the FDA pushed back the death-knell for a couple yrs, I figured I could go ahead and join the squonk revolution... but I vape so archaically, it's been a real challenge, and still dunno for sure if I can make it work for me... though it's looking up.
ETA: The thing I don't get is about using a tube mod, or any other mod for that matter, as a "building stand"... how do you keep it upright and immobile while you're mounting the coil? I like Kayfun mountings, and that means the head needs to be absolutely immobilized while I'm wrapping wires tightly around tiny screws. But even with the poke-it-thru-a-hole mounting, you still need the head to be immobile. Not attached to something that will fall over from a stray breeze.

To funny...I don't build on my mech tubes...it was just the first thing I grabbed to pull the cap off the RDA when I got it LOL...then I just left it there as I was test fitting drip tips.
I honestly use a HCigar VT-133 to build on...
Anyhow finally found the perfect fit drip tip for the Flave 22...
Just had to put a slightly thicker O ring on and boom snug.

Dammit. It seems FT split up one of my orders that contained a Gorge, Sentinel clone and Solo clone, so that the Solo clone is by itself. Looks like the Solo clone is now set to ship next day, with the Gorge's ETA as 10/14 and the Sentinel clone's ETA is 10/10. They were all supposed to ship in an estimated 7 days from last Saturday. *sigh*
On the other hand, the Ample Pixy RDTA, which was listed as pre-order with an unknown ETA, is now in stock and waiting to be packaged. So hopefully, I'll have my Minion before too long.
