TMI maybe?

Depends on perspective, from mine not really. I think everyone visiting here is aware of various aspects of living. If not it's not my problem to solve but theirs.

ETA: Shorter version: I'm simply going to stop posting as much as I've done. There seems a palpable sentiment of dislike, possibly hate present. It prods at whatever I do put here, feigning not understanding humor, or clear communication. Why ought I bother at that point?

Yay, I vape. So what? That's fairly much the extent of it. I don't need to keep engaged here, or any vaping forum, any forum really.

Shorter still, stupidity creates silence of genius, thank you and have a good one.

Yeah? I never realized it was a "real" holiday for banks, mail, etc. I asked my son if he has school tomorrow (tech school)... he said yes. Thank god it's not a holiday for regular people, so my husband can work his 90 mins of OT and get his time-and-a-half. :)

I can't even imagine drinking tea without sugar; my husband often does, but says he prefers my iced tea, which is just lightly sweet, just enough to knock off the worst of the bitterness, though Luzianne is pretty mellow for American tea. If I go out to eat, down here in the south they have this syrup they call "sweet tea", but I have to order half sweet/half unsweet, or it's just intolerable. Probably pretty tasty on pancakes or waffles or french toast. :D

Andria

I can't drink tea or coffee without a little sweetener. I despise instant tea, that shit isn't tea, it's dirt. Don't like fruit flavors or much of anything else in my tea aside from chai and Earl Grey, although I do have to drink extra strength Sleepy Time tea before bedtime. Don't like it a whole lot but gotta. :(

Yes it is I've vaped on both.
Going over my notes at the time.I actually thought the clone had a bit smoother airflow. But I was drinking at the time so there's that.

I was referring to the new Chalice IV, not the old Chalice III

The cloned Chalice III was not even close to 1/1

Vaping enjoyment for me seems to be an affinity toward smaller chambered RDA. 22-24 mm build decks suit my preferences as well. Noted yesterday that 3FVape is now hosting a new section specifically entitled Squonk. :)

It was nice to look at RDA without the wearisome nag of not knowing if the examined item would squonk or not. Saw a few RDA appearing to fit what I prefer using. All of them also within range of prices I'm willing to pay, most - $20 and a few - $10. :) Of course, they were clones. I've no aversion to such.

Every time I read a Magic Mist missive, I read it in the voice of Reuben J. Cogburn.
It emphasizes the nub of the issue at hand and entertains mightily while not entirely non-sensical.

If only I genuinely could fill that Rooster's shoes. Part of my step dad's being an asshole was reflected in watching the old raw Westerns. He never appreciated Charles Bronson though. Guess the Deathwish line of films caught him by the balls, such the Great Man he was. Despite all his misgivings though, seems I managed to turn out fair enough.

I dunno.. I do know, however, that in order to make OT, there must first be 40 hrs for that week ON THE CLOCK, not as vacation pay... so if a week has a holiday, then there is no OT that week.

Update from Mooch on Reddit on the Ijoy batteries.
iJoy's statement regarding the 4-leg top contact version of their 20700 battery self.electronic_cigarette

submitted 5 hours ago * by Mooch315

iJoy has released their statement regarding the new 4-leg top contact version of their 20700 battery. I am posting it as received from iJoy.

I am testing several of their 4-leg 20700's now and will be posting the results in a day or so.

Their statement that I received: https://imgur.com/a/DqWKA

iJoy has posted a slightly different version: https://www.facebook.com/IJOY.Technology/posts/1953361701613391

.....................................

the gist of it is that the battery provided with Kits will be the cheaper less capable battery which will get new wraps.
The better battery must be bought separately.

Yeah I can't stand it myself; to me, chamomile tastes like spearmint, which I've always loathed. I take 3-4 Dramamine (generic dimenhydrinate), a few "PM Leg Cramp" pills, and a big mug of hot cocoa made with 8oz of warmed milk (2oz boiling water to dissolve the cocoa, then warm milk to fill it up). Valerian smells so foul, I can't get the capsules down without gagging, and I didn't notice much effect at all from kava kava. So I stick to dramamine, since it actually provides the "heavy eyelids" sensation, not merely "foggy head" as benadryl/sominex give.

I'm giving some thought to trying out melatonin, to see if it can help me; dramamine works in a similar fashion, in that if it's the time you normally go to bed, dramamine works very well -- apparently melatonion is similar, i.e, won't do much at all if it's not your regular bedtime.

Received my Strike 18 today. Haven't built it yet, as I only just now plucked it from the boiling water bath, so I'll give it a while to cool off. Got wakened about 3 hrs earlier than I normally prefer, so I'm heading off for a nap in a few, won't be building the Strike 18 probably until after Criminal Minds tonight. I'm a little concerned though, due to the 510 issues with the DB160; the 510 pin in the Strike18 doesn't protrude very much, so I'm afraid it may not be able to make contact. I wonder if I can "pop" the DB160's 510 back up, as we used to do to the vv3's when they had this issue.

I take 5mg melatonin, this herbal grass-cuttings shit, the extra strength Sleepy Time tea (using two bags in 6 oz of hot water), two Benadryl, and Ambien (all prescribed by my doctor) and I still can't sleep much most nights. When I get desperate enough (3-4 days of little sleep), I take 1 1/2 Ambien and that helps but then I end up running short at the end of the month. I used to be prescribed 2 Ambien, but government assholes decided no one needs that much and prohibited prescriptions of more than 1 per day. And now, my doctor tells me that they're even starting to make motions towards limiting women to 5mg Ambien per day, because women apparently don't need more than that. Who the fuck decided that??? :headbang:

It's the total 510 length, not how far the positive protrudes that should matter.

Re: batteries, correct me if I'm wrong but they're the same size and can be used interchangeably with the 18650 batteries?
No, the numbers are the size, 18mm diameter, 65mm long, round cell for 18650, 20mm diameter 70mm long, round cell for 20700, etc.

I've only taken "real" sleeping pills when hospitalized, and briefly when my treatment for depression first started, but I just don't like the side effects -- primarily, their gradual lessening of effect and need to take more, and the drugged-out fog the next day. I don't get the hangover effects with dramamine, though the build-up of tolerance does need addressing from time to time -- what that usually means is a night or two of poor sleep, till I'm just so damn fatigued, I can get to sleep with just TWO of them, rather than 3-4, but then it begins to slowly build again. Plus the fact that prescription meds are expensive and I don't have insurance. I see just one doctor, twice a year, and only because I need regular refills of my asthma meds, and he insists on an exam before writing the renewals. I guess that makes him a conscientious doc, because asthma is nothing to laugh at. Any other trips to any sort of medical care requires either a fever that won't go away, or a massive agonizing emergency like the appendix going kerblooie.

Ah, okay got it. Not a problem then. Got 4 fresh 18650 which will last a while. Retired 3 others that I've used for 4-8 months, they'll go into an 18650 radio, an 18650 Ω meter/tester but not back in vaping circulation. I asked because this confused me a bit. Suppose it then depends on a mod being milled out to use various sizes or not.

Hmm, ok.... any suggestions for what to do, if I can't get the Strike18 to make contact? You said something about an o-ring, I think... but I'm not sure how that would work...?

Actually, it's a requirement that they see you periodically before they can write prescriptions. Which is a good thing. How often depends on what the medication is. I see my thyroid doctor once a year for levothyroxine. I was seeing my regular doctor every three months for vicodin. Right now, I'm seeing her every month as we experiment with other shit to see if it will help. So far, it's not. :(

Correct but some mods milled for 20700 batteries come with a sleeve to use 18650 batteries my orca is milled for 20700 batteries but if i use a sleeve adapter i can put a 18650 in it and use it that way

Alright. Kind of figured there were probably adapters of some means around as well. Kind of a funny tidbit. Just put a retired 18650 into a small flashlight that housed a triple A battery sled. The light works, albeit the light is a lot brighter. Did not note any ill effects on the 18650. I'll continue monitoring that and be cautious. The ones I retired were holding power less.

Unscrew the positive pin take a spare o-ring, thinner the better, eyeball/measure how much will take to make a ring inside the 510 hole and cut that much off the ring. Poke your bit of ring material as far down in there as you can get so it's making a circle inside the 510 connection. Screw the positive pin back in.

out of 2 of the 6 flavors from that Bigglesworth sale, neither are good.

Prairie - It's a menthol banana, tobacco & peanut butter juice. It's not bad but the menthol completely ruins it. It's like a stale cigarette. I don't get the adding of menthol as they've got a version of this with menthol in it called Snowdrift.

Amity - simple lemon cake. Kinda tastes like a lemon mandolin with a healthy dose of play-doh.

On the plus side, got a refund from school I wasn't expecting. Time to be hood rich & blow the $680 in a single day

Bummer. My mom took oxy, for all her many and various pains, and there for a while was getting the runaround about it, pain clinics, etc... Finally, someone with a brain in their head figured out that a 70-odd yr old woman with as many health problems as my mom had was unlikely to live long enough for addiction to be a big problem, and finally stopped yanking her around about it.

My pulmonary specialist only required seeing me yearly for my asthma meds... but now I see an internist, and I guess he figures that since pulmonary stuff isn't his specialty, caution is warranted, so he likes to see me every 6 months. I guess it's a good thing, now that I've quit smoking; when I smoked, nothing much ever changed... and I really didn't need Advair, despite his twice-yearly urgings; now that I vape, I DO require Advair, and anything with steroids requires a LOT of caution... plus, it allows him to see how and in what ways my condition changes, as the time not-smoking/vaping accumulates. I'm pleased to note that although the improvement is VERRRRRRRRRRRY slow... there actually IS improvement. :) :) :)

Our medical facility makes me sign a contract once a year saying that I won't doctor shop or abuse opiates. And I have to take a piss test once a year. My husband's employer has their own medical facilities and they're great because they hire good doctors and staff and they're very, very inexpensive. $10 for a doctor's visit, free xrays and lab work. We do have to pay for prescriptions but their coverage is pretty good.

Interestingly, did you know that Benedryl can cause a positive reaction to methadone? Confused the hell out of my doctor until I looked up all my meds to see why it was saying I was on methadone. It's just a very, very faint reaction but it's there. So now whenever I have to have a piss test, I stop the Benedryl for 3-4 days beforehand and haven't had a problem since.

Well, I'm pleased to find that I was worried over nothing; although it gave me a little static at first, it finally DID update the resistance for the new atty, so apparently it's long enough -- I guess the Magma on it originally just has a short 510 or something.

I'm also VERY pleased to find that the draw on the Strike 18 is AMAZING! If anything, on the very tiniest airhole, it's even tighter than the Achilles! Which I certainly don't mind a bit! :) :) :)

I was displeased to find that it arrived with straight rather than phillips head screws for the coil... but I rummaged thru my chest full of atomizer this-n-that and was able to find a couple of phillips that fit the threading, so that issue is fixed. Still breaking in the new coil/wick, so it's difficult to say just yet about the flavor, but so far, it SEEMS not too bad -- one of the best things about very-restricted airflow, the great flavor!

It looks pretty cool -- that petite atty on the huge DB160, it kinda looks like one of those cool all-in-one dealies. :D

So, though the jury is still out on flavor, so far I am very happy with my Strike 18. :D And still struck dumfounded by how fast it got here!

Luke Skywalker's light saber? It kinda looks like it to me, but then again, what do I know? If you really want it and have the money, go for it.....just make sure it is not an impulse buy!

it's a mech in the shape of the Saturn I rocket. And it would very much be an impulse buy (especially at $295 for the mech & $70 for the battle cap)
