I use the make a moon method.
Close AFC completely then slowly open it until it is about the shape of an almost full moon shape.I pretty much do that with all my (Cyclops) AFC tanks.

While both of these are MTL atties, I found the Speed Revolution to have just a little more air than I like for MTL. Chalice IV has mixed reviews, some say it's too much air, others say not enough. I think Mark wants to be in both camps, the Chalice III was his last true MTL and even that one has more air than I like when fully open. His Gem 2 rta was a departure from true MTL, followed by Charm and now Chalice IV. Bottom line, vaping and tastes are subjective, if you like it, great!

Well... I can't see any pics of the inside of the top cap; I do see those godawful hex things instead of actual screws for mounting the coil... and I can't see how well the airflow can be tightened.

I can't even imagine paying that much for a mod. There are so many I want, and I can't really afford any of them right now; probably the only one I could probably swing is the DB 2, the one at MVS... but I NEED an Aegis, I'm such a super-klutz -- I need a mod as tough as my Achilles! But I also need to order some more batteries.

But I have to say, the one i REALLY want is that Pumpkin Orange one I saw advertised in the new posts; $58.90 with a coupon code, though I don't recall it offhand. That thing is GORGEOUS, with that orange-to-black gradient. Of course that would also necessitate a new driptip, because I don't have any orange in my driptip wardrobe.
If I just got the yellow, i do have a yellow driptip.

I feel you. I placed the order for the Therion on 9/02. Last night I canceled it and reordered because I finally figured out the MAP code didn't work for me as I initially ordered it on the mobile site with my phone. So cancelled, then used the 140 gift certificate to reorder at $105, plus a Strike 18, cover panels for the VT inbox and a couple spare Therion bottles. Perhaps I should be thankful it was delayed.

I don't really "split it all"... There are certain parts I don't share at all (my Achilles, my custom-etched "Andria" mods, and my 30Q's!)... but I told him I could carry him on vaping for a while, as an inducement for him to stick out the initial break with cigarettes; he's bought a couple items for himself, and I've passed a few PIFs on to him; the main thing he's still sharing is the battery collection, besides the 30q's, and much of the driptip collection, though fortunately he has no objection to the metal driptips, or the really short ones, which generally go unused (by me). So yeah, new batteries are probably what I really need to buy first, before the mods I want. Damn it.
BTW, he just passed 3 months smoke-free, back on the 5th, and hasn't seemed to have any problems; I warned him about the "rule of 3's" and told him to tell me AT ONCE if he got any cravings or compelling urges to smoke, because I do still have that WTA... but he seems fine.
