Yeah, the lack of suc....oh, wait....different topic here:vino:

Seriously, I like the original Pico squeeze and Luna , well, ok, all the others too but I'm shying away from all these newer, over complicated multi part squonks. I much prefer the simpler mechanisms.

Just FYI, the DPro and the Drop Solo are totally different...
Gotcha. Thanks. :)

I can't speak for the Drop Solo, but the DPro is amazing.
*nods, considering & will now look for DPro instead of Drop*

VaporRange has the Solo for $15.95 plus free shipping. I sound like an advertisement for VaporRange this morning, but I'm not. Just discovered them a few weeks ago, and they have some great prices.
Yes, I see they do. Their authentic RDAs are even priced alright for me, granted some are a bit more, but that's alright I can shop the ones costing less. Nice selection there as well as good price. *bookmarks them & labels them "Good Freds"*

Drop Solo is really nice. I love the draw and big flavor out of it. I got my wicks so the tails are barely touching the deck. A hard press squonk and I can hit it quite a few times without worry. The squonk pin is raised so all the juice doesnt go back in the bottle.

Really, really dislike non draining squonks
*nodding, arranges his Scrabble letters* Cannot word that better. Thanks.:) Only adding, "kind of the purpose of squonking in the draining excess, least imho."

I wasn't a fan of RDAs until I tried the Drop Solo.
You might give the Advken Gorge a go. It does well conveying flavor, imho fwiw. Seems I've an affinity to reach for it most oft than any other RDAs, except perhaps a NaRDA(clone), which it seems to tie or the NaRDA ties.

*nods & puts his bit of eight in the tithe basket passing by* Let us recall the admonishment given by the wise Fred. "Keep It Simple Sally," Fred told us right before he spontaneously self combusted and vanished in a cloud of vapor that took eight days and nights to clear out of the room. They were a good Fred, that one. I aspire to one day be half as good a Fred as her.

I have been getting about 4 hrs on my pulse x using a ijoy 3000mAh 20700. Is that normal or no....
It really depends on the build and wattage you are using. If thecoil requires allot of power, then it's entirely possible.

I'm running .21ohms at 50w.
Hmm, possible, but not likely. Might be an issue with your battery. I would try a different battery. Also, depending on the battery manufacturer, the batteries aren't always rated correctly for what the are really capable of. You might check out Battery Mooch. He will more than likely have to true specs for your battery. Just a guess, but sounds quite possible to me.

I got rid of the Wotofo 6mm lace of cotton I had in my Profile. That stuff was entirely too tight and it wasn't squonking worth a lick. I redid it with CB Prime and not as tight. It squonks way better and now I'm getting a taste of that famed flavor this thing is known for. I always think it's pretty cool how adjustments can improve the whole experience for the better.

@Just Frank my profile will be delivered today and the only cotton I have will be what comes with the RDA. Do you think it would work if I thinned out the cotton then wick?
Yeah, I stuffed the whole thing in there lol. It should be fine if you use less. I just read a bunch of times to use a lot, like more than you think. But those 6mm things is a bit much. I also doubled up my spring. Don't know if many people do that.

I'm assuming that the spring is weak. Did you stretch the spring or use a different one?

I don't think my cotton is touching the coil in certain areas. I ended up using all the wick..

Welcome to the wonderful world of mesh I guess..
I got the top cap off and I'm firing it on 20w for like a second to see if I see red, I do see red when I fire is that normal on mesh coils?

Damn....coughing my brains out on 90w dang man, my cotton is touching the mesh but the mess is still red as I fire...great flavor on 30 up to about 65. Is this thing Kent to fire on 90w?

if your seeing red with a wick in and juiced up,no that isn't normal.Your wick is not tight enough against the mesh,or there are spots where the wick isn't touching.Mesh is very unforgiving when it comes to the wick not touching. When i got my first profile,i put the wick in too loose and got the dry hit from hell haha,i felt like i was breathing fire.Ever since,i have made sure my wick is pretty snug against the mesh and no problems anymore.

Yeah I actually breathed a flame just a sec ago! Guess I'll stuff some more cotton in there. I just learned a lesson.

Yo WTF...my coil gets cherry red then it turns into a lighter....

Did you dry fire with the cotton in it? Gotta make sure the cotton is tight enough that it doesn't fall away from the mesh when juiced up. I've got all my profile rdas no more than 50 watts. I was however vaping it on a mech earlier with no issues. And it was definitely higher than 50. Watch some videos. Try again but you don't have to vape at 90. Mesh heats faster than regular coils so you should be able to cut it back some

Also,90 watts may be a bit too high for the Wotofo mesh. The recommended power range on it is 45-65 watts,so 90 may be more than it can handle, but i think it's all more to do with the wicking than the wattage.

You went way over what Wotofo rates their mesh. You shouldn't be firing it that at 90W. Keep it low until you can trust your wicking technique is solid.

Good point,I run a couple on mechs with no issues,on a fresh battery they will hit up close to 90 watts, and no issues,so i think he definitely has a wicking issue,or not enough juice soaked into the wick before firing it.

Well...not really but it was close. Just because I didn't get it the first timendoesnt mean I need to sale it or go back to pen eciggs. Out of all the videos iv watched on the profile not one mentioned anything about the mesh catching fire if the cotton isn't pressed up against the mesh. This is my first time using mesh. I might not have gotten it right the 1st time but by gosh I'll get it right the 2nd time..

I put plenty of juice on it. I made a error in the wicking I guess, I really don't see how because before I wicked I made sure the mesh was seated all the way down then I tightened the screws..

What cotton did you use.? Did wotofo provide a cotton strip or are you using something different

It takes a lot of wick, period. I can't answer for everyone but I think we all started with a lot and thinned from there. Stuff it and hose it down with juice. By all means find a safer place to start.

Now that i think about it,your mesh may have hot spots in it.I did have that issue when i got my first profile.Take out the wick and dry fire the coil at around 20 watts ,it should glow evenly all across the mesh.If it doesn't try brushing across it with a screw driver or something, just make sure your not pushing the fire button when you do it,that would be bad haha. But anyway, that should work out the hot spots,if not then try the other piece of mesh.My first one i had to replace because no matter what i did it still had a hot spot.

Any dripper can flame up, with enough juice , cap off, and way too many watts.
Juices that contain alcohol are more susceptible.
