SS claptons

im trying to use 26ss/36ss. It does great in the house. When at work I don't have the luxury of AC and the temp. Protection keeps popping up. This limits my 15 min break to vape. Sad time. Would spacing the wraps on coil help cool it? (Heck, maybe the mod needs a chiller) I like the coolness of the vape. I use to hit regular claptons .12-.2 at 80 to 100w. In this heat wave it seems to affect the vape. Even Turning the temp to 600 doesn't help. Only thing I know is to turn it off completely. Is this the reason people blow through the RDA before hitting? Lol. Spacing help cool it? I'm running it on a 200 DNA device and currently don't have computer to support EScribe, but will have on by Monday. Hopefully it will have something that sets a current temperature outside.
I will say I love the vape on these ss coils. 10 wraps on a 3mm comes to a .35 and I like 460* at 50w. There is no break in flavor is good from the start. The taste is clear. It's different, and I love different.

Yes, escribe does have a setting for high and low temps. But seems like the stock setting is in the 100's, so not sure that's the issue. Certainly worth a try though. In the meantime, you should be able to find a tolerable wattage for SS with temp control off.

Here's a good place to find escribe tutorials or ask questions about the dna200. http://evolvapor.forumchitchat.com/
