You can treat the SS wire, as you treat Kanthal. That's why I prefer SS wire over Ti, and Ni200. However, the resistance is lower than Kanthal. Search the tube for coil building tutorials. In addition, you can use http://www.steam-engine.org/coil.asp as a guideline.
TC is a different story. Not every Mod supports TC for SS wire.

Ni 0.15ohm, this type are temperature control, SS coil will have better flavor experience.

What mod and tanks will you be using for SS temp control? I use SS coils for all of my tanks and my builds can be different depending on the tank.

Not entirely correct, SS works in TC if your mod supports it. I only vape SS, from 26 to 20 gauge, in my various attys, and have both an X Cube 2 and RX200 that do TC on SS.

Of the 2, the RX200 is the better mod.

SS can be used for TC in many TC mods that don't directly support it by either adjusting the temperature or by adjusting the TCR, if so equipped ("nickel purity" settings can do this in many cases).

Mods that support TC resistances of no more than 0.3 ohm (as an example) limits SS builds/wire gauges that can be used. I really like that my eVic VTC Mini will support TC builds up to 1.5 ohms- this also helps by increasing the resistance reading granularity, offering potentially greater accuracy.

Rx200 with bellus

You can definitely dry burn SS coils. I recommend starting off with 26 gauge SS spaced coils. Any kind of SS wire you have will be fine. They all work. Dual coil builds can be trickier than single coil builds but lots of people use dual coils.

Most SS wire is springy so you might want to try using a 2mm rod if you are going for a 2.5mm build (good size coil for the Bellus). I would definitely dry burn a dual coil setup in normal power mode to check for hot spots and get an even glow between the two coils. Once that's working, just wick, switch to the SS316 setting and see how it vapes. I'd start with it set to 70 watts at 400º and go from there. If you can't get the dual coils to heat up enough for you, try increasing the watts and temp. If your settings get over 100 watts and 500º and you still aren't getting enough vapor you may want to start trying custom TCR settings. If you need to do that just post here and we'll help guide you through it.
