Not being orthodox here, or trying to seem a jerk. Braiding though uses three or more strands. Below is an example of braided coil.

Your two strands are indeed twisted and very good. :) Have and would vape twisted SS316. Also done twisted, or (tiger) kanthal. See a lot of the fancy coils myself and think, "that's a lot of work" and then think "hm, but no real benefit". So, usually stick with a simple mono-stranded coil. Something akin to below.

*shrugs* Only my two pennies which I know is likely worth less than dung.

It always looks fancy but indeed no benefit.

Apologies, probably worded that clumsily. There might be benefit/s, I've not perceived any. So, I ought not say absolutely there isn't benefit. I'm probably a weirdo that doesn't notice benefits of "fancy" coil/s. Know I'm a weirdo for sure. *chuckles*

Just looks fancy. Like rims on a car. No benefit. Wider tank track coils may heat up the cotton faster though.
