Stainless core TC clapton - anybody else doing this?

I would have preferred to buy some but it doesn't appear that anyone makes it, so had to get off my lazy ass and do it. 24g 316L and 30g Ni200. To me it tastes cleaner than kanthal, which has a subtle metallic flavor that I never liked. Going to try some SS/Ti when my wire order shows up. This was my first try at a coaxial wire and I learned a few things, they will get better when I get more material to work with as I ran out of correct gauges.

I was thinking of doing something like that. However, so far there was no need for changing coils on any of my atomizers.

When my wire comes in I plan on doing the same thing but Fused Claptons instead....How does it fair with the TC?

On an RX200 and Evic Mini, the joyetech board senses it as nickel just fine. Tried it in SS mode just for the heck of it but it goes into temp protect immediately, as it should I guess. Not as good a result with the Evolve board, but I was having problems with that on 316L anyways, will go to 430 ss and Ti when vapemail arrives. But I'm happy with flavor and vapor with this combo. Will try fused down the road, that was the long range plan but need to make a jig for some kind of swivel or something to let both strands turn. What kind of setup do you use raymo when making fused wire? TIA

Good as I have a Cuboid so it seems it should do well then...I was seriously hating this thing since it has the 25A output limit and I like vaping at .1-.3 Ohms and I found the box has a limit of 25A after I bought it and ordered a second. Now that it may have use I may not sell both of them. Im pretty excited for when my wire arrives!

Have you tried utilizing the TCR instead of TC Ni?

No, it seemed to work fine in Ni mode on both mods. Could try it just for giggles, iirc that is between 0.0052 - 0.006 right?

Better yet, stainless steel 26g and Titanium 30g. Cleanest taste and best flavor so far. Dense vapor and jumbo clouds also...
