The first details have been revealed about Star Wars Battlefront's Drop Zone mode, revealing "King of the Hill"-style gameplay with a bit of a twist.
A new post on the EA blog reveals Drop Zone will see two teams of eight players compete to capture and control drop pods that fall through the atmosphere onto planet surfaces.
Victory comes should you manage to control five pods simultaneously, or the majority of them after 10-minutes. Should control of a pod constantly change possession, another will be sent down in order to break the stalemate. While we don't have any gameplay footage as yet, a new screenshot has been released:
