This issue sees Dr. Aphra and a ragtag band of droids, bounty hunters and bounty-hunting droids stage a heist on an Imperial transport carrying a massive pile of confiscated credits. The heist sequence is fun to read thanks to the clash of personalities and the general "scum and villainy" vibe to Gillen's script. It also sets the tone for the rest of the issue. Betrayal is really the name of the game right now. Everyone has an angle in this issue, especially Vader himself. He has his own goals that don't necessarily align with those of Palpatine or the Empire, and the Sith Lord is walking an increasingly precarious tightrope as he plots and schemes underneath the nose of General Tagge. The book is fast developing into a complex web of intrigue where no character feels completely safe, not even Vader himself.
