I just received my refund from 3f and I am pretty sure you and I ordered and cancelled around the same time. I just told them no store credit, no more waiting, paypal refund. they said it would take 2 days and it took 1.

Love my PWM series mod and love the idea of a para/series unit, but not sure about this one quite yet. Going to wait for reviews.
I'm underwhelmed by the 510 from what I can tell. That button is curious looking and wonder how well it will perform and how durable it will be in the long run. Curious how the battery door works out... Also, the stated ramp up time is roughly 3x longer than what my other pwm series mod claims. Also, the steam crave is approximately double the cost of my other pwm series mod.
I'm not sold on this one quite yet, but I WILL be adding more PWM mods to my arsenal.

The only one I found immediately was a DNA chip mod. Pretty sure that isnt the one being discussed. Suppose it could be a standard series PWM which is a different animal than the para-series. I feel so confident this is going to be a big win so bought it in each color.
I guess I was being a little ambiguous, since I want to order a couple more before they sell out and have been dragging my feet buying a prepaid card. It looks like it's an older mod that quietly came out in 2017, got reviewed by a couple of folks, and was immediately forgotten. I don't know if it's still in production or not, but I don't believe that it is as the only place I've found that has it is ali.
The Creator is standard series, but I really like the idea of para/series for longer runtimes on subohm builds. I may bite on the steamcrave if the reviews are positive, but I really want a pwm lipo mod built to order so may just go that route instead and skip the SC.

Thats just a standard series PWM. No different than a Dovpo or Tesla or any of the other dual 18650 PWM (although it looks as if it can take a 30mm atty without overhang, which is nice). Para Series is boss daddy, having a HOG that can be reigned in and dialed down without needed a lb of wire is a very attractive product to me.
Right, I wasn't comparing them directly, but at the end of the day it's basically just a larger sled with a second pair of 18650's in parallel, chipset aside... For twice as much money. (And an arguably worse/potentially less durable design overall.)
I like the idea of para/series as you get all the benefits of a parallel setup, plus the benefits of the voltages available of series, but it's the SC unit in particular that has me wondering if the mod is worth the asking price. Hard to tell based on the pics, but from what I can see I'm kinda meh on a few things about it.
Plus, after you buy the mod you're gonna need batteries. Probably 8 of em, knowing us. So there's another $50 or so. ...and a second mod just because... It adds up.
My line of thinking is that "custom" lipo pwm mods built to spec aren't that expensive, and it'll probably be an all around better end product and experience overall, but that's mostly me just doing my own cost: benefit analysis out loud.

To each his own I guess. I have a couple hundred 18650 batteries on hand, many quad married sets and ready to party. This was a no brainer for me.
I look forward to hearing some reviews once they hit the streets. If they're positive I'll probably pick one up as well. Not like I hate it or anything.
That little press-fit 510 looks a bit hokey to me though, and the fire button reminds me of the double-barrel which conjures images of broken buttons, and the door is an unknown, but if that all proves to be a non-issue I'm probably down. In fact, had they not been delayed multiple times and were readily available, I would have probably ordered one already.
Edit: Being a newer pwm convert, I may have misspoken. Now that I take a second look around, I'm not seeing a lot of mention of vv ability on most of those other pwm mods, regardless of what's powering them or who built them. That's something I will definitely have to look into more deeply before having anything custom built, but definitely moves the titan mod into a more positive light in my eyes overall. I hope other chip/mod makers take notice and follow suit.

I received an email back from Steamcrave last night and they said it was a "pre-order item" that would be shipped when it got to the NY warehouse from (Im guessing) China. I guess I should have just stayed with 3f and saved the money. No real time advantage on switching to the source. Hurry up and wait.
