Steel Cable Wicking with the Ser Glight Genius Tank

This isn't a review, I'm wondering if anyone on the forum has used this tank and what they think. Looking at the vids it looks like a truly amazing rta. Big, beefy and german-engineered, this really got my attention. Todd has done a review, and there are multiple german-language reviews on it. I've ordered the Fasttech clone, am hoping it is close in quality. The original isn't available from their site right now. Unsure if its available elsewhere as of yet. This tank appears to have been out about a year in this version. I understand the authentic is very pricey tho. I like the concept of steel cable for wicking, I understand these wick extremely well and you lay the cotton on top of the cable ends. So, has anyone tried this tank, or one similar? Would appreciate hearing if you had.

well,I am a genisis user and have always used gennys...and yes I've used ss cable as a wick with a ss mesh sock around it...I didn't care for cable....I have seen Todd's review of it and I believe he names it as one of his favorite tanks of 2017...I think he likes the size of it and the novelty of it, but he also really likes the tank....I tend to trust Todd's judgment usually.He is a diplomatic reviewer and always couches his disapproval of gear in the most diplomatic way,but when he gushes as he has for this tank ...it's a good sign it's pretty good....the guy has vaped everything....not just cheezy chinese sub ohm tanks...I don't like cotton so I'm not interested in it, but 4 ss cables would wick juice real good......all the attys I'm usually interested in are always in Italian....I feel your pain.

Yeah Pulse, I think it would probably wick really well too. The concept of laying the cotton from the coil onto the wick ends to absorb the juice brought up is new to me...but Todds and the other German vids I've seen all show good cloudage. The size of the thing cracks me up, but the coils are high up so I think there should be some good flavor. I did try that older tank, 'The Big German' awhile ago, that was alot of fun and really a cool tank, but the length the vapor had to travel meant that there was virtually no flavor to the vapor...at least for me.

Personally if I vaped with cotton I'd just squonk.

If you like crazy and have a sense of humour, this thing is great.

It's basically a really good RDA sitting on a bucket load of juice.

You'll get just as good a Vape from other gear but none will start as many conversations as this
