Sudden Hard-Hits

I use a Kbox Mini w/ a Billow V2 Mini. I've built myself a 26g-2mm-.6ohm dual coil in her. For the last week, after letting my mod sit for a while, I'll go to take a drag and it will hit really hard, to the point of burnt wick. My typical ramp-up time is almost quarted. Usually after a 2nd or 3rd pulse it'll all start hitting normal again. I've double checked my connections, have no increase in ohms and can't figure out what else is going on. I have yet to put a new build in there, but am really hoping it's not my mod. Anyone else have experience with this or have an idea what's going on?

Assuming your kbox is operating correctly, the first hit should be the same as all other hits as far as the box is concerned. Tell it 50w and it should feed 50w every time.
The only thing I can think of is that the wick & coil is super saturated with ejuice from sitting at idle so you are getting more juice vaporizing than normal.

It's like it's hitting w/ more heat flux. Really hot, really fast.

Are the screws tightened down well on the wires? Maybe one side is loose and not making a very good connection leading to resistance increasing until the heat expands the wire to make a firm connection?

Do you have another mod to try after letting the attomizer sit for a while to replicate the problem?

Yup, checked all my posts and none were loose.. Dunno, though now I've gone two days without it happening. Go figure!
