David Ayers has signed on to direct Gotham City Sirens, the upcoming DC movie based on the comic series of the same name.
Ayers will direct and produce the movie, which will see him working once again with Harley Quinn actress Margot Robbie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In addition to again taking on the role of Harley Quinn, Robbie is also an executive producer on the project. Geoff Jons and Jon Berg are also on board as producers.
The comic series focused on Gotham City's female villains, including Cat Woman, the aforementioned Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy. Which female villains make the film's roster is just one of many details, including a release date, still up in the air.
