"Love Hurts" (named after the Nazareth song, which was originally an Everly Brothers tune) was a middling-yet-apropos monster hunt that incorporated this week's Valentine's Day theme with a touch of It Follows.
There wasn't much drama to be had here save for the case - involving this show's take on a "Qareen" curse - being the catalyst for Dean coming clean with Sam regarding his uncontrollable urges for Amara. Feelings that somehow get too powerful to resist when he's in her actual presence. So that was good news, though it didn't come until right at the end. And Sam easily forgave Dean (thank god), providing us with reason #316 as to why these brothers should never keep secrets from one another.
