Teardowns of mods? Specifically the HohmWrecker?

Does anyone have or do teardowns of mods? pBusardo used to it seems, but I'm dying to know what brand chip is in the hOhmWrecker. I find it hard to believe they "made" the chip by hand. It's probably a re-branded STM32 or some PIC microcontroller. I'm dying to know but I can't bring myself to buy a mod that has no firmware upgrade-ability (my guess is because they are trying to hide the secret that it's off the shelf parts, so no native USB.). I mean it's just so close to being the perfect mod (minus the fugly mandatory styling and no USB). I don't mind not charging my 18650's by USB (although I hate that we haven't evolved there yet.)

Fwiw, this is a prick thing to do. It's also how to lose any electronics engineer as a customer (not that I am). It's probably off the shelf stuff.

Honestly, it's funny that's the only picture they have. I see just fets, nothing of importance on that side. Honestly, it's gotta be some typical micro... even my Tesla 60w TC has a STM32 on it.
