TFA Blueberry Extra

Anyone use it and what are your thoughts? Looking to make some sweet blueberry mixes and was wondering if anyone has done so and what blueberry did you use. Thanks for any input you can offer.

it's good but weak.. it lasts, it's blueberry.. at least to me..

I use it and like it in the recipes I use. Now that I think about it, it's one I have not tried on it's own yet. Guess I better put in the rotation. LOL

i use it. it is one of my favorites. i mix it at 8% with 8% pomegranate and sweet cream. don't remember what % sweet cream. i am at work and can't look it up. might be 2% sweet cream and 2% sweetner

I mixed it standalone at 10%. Weak flavor. I read a review that at 10% it tasted like blueberry cupcake. I didn't get that. I mixed it with with 2% fa caramel and 2% fa Fuji apple. It sounds odd, but I liked it!

FW Blueberry 2.5%
TFA Blueberry Wild 2.5%
CAP NY Cheesecake 3%
TFA Graham Cracker Clear 2%

Or just use 5% of 1 Blueberry
FW is more sourish and TFA is sweeter so I like em better mixed together.
But I think the TFA was better than the FW when used alone.

I havent' had the TFA, but really like FA Bilberry. VERY strong, though, so you have to start pretty low. Like a fresh picked berry.

After reading everyone experiments , I picked up some blueberry extra at the DIY shop today.

My favorite authentic blueberry flavor is Blueberry Wild. I've tried Extra and it's too perfumey for me. Blueberry Candy is also good but as the name would imply, it's candy-like. (probably EM added or something)

Belgian waffle (tfa) 5%
Cookie (FA) 1%

no name for the mix and it wont win any blue ribbons at the county fair, but it good for my taste

I also like to mix blueberry wild with Vanilla bean ice cream flavor for a creamy blue berry taste
