just got some vape mail in from Flavor Lab. I ordered a flavor called butter rum thinking about the lifesaver candy flavor, but did not search it before ordering. I am getting almost no hits on it searching the 2 forums that I lurk in. Anyone ever used this flavor in a recipe?

Don't have the TFA Butter Rum, but have used FE, FW, & LA.
FE has strongest rum taste.
LA has alcohol taste, (alcohol base).
FW was closer to Lifesaver flavor IMO.
They lean more towards the "rum" side so I ended up adding some Butterscotch.
Drip some from the bottle on your finger to get an idea of taste and strength.
I'd try something like 7-10% stand alone to start with...
Curious to find out how the TFA brand fares cause I used to like the Butter Rum Lifesavers too.

well I will keep you in the loop. I will be mixing with it this weekend. I do have butter, butterscotch, and several caramels to play with as well. Got it thinking that a buttered rum pecan recipe would taste pretty good

FW Butter Pecan is "Divine", even just as a stand alone at 10%.
And FW Hazelnut is sweet too.
As always, never enough flavorings...

Dang, added another one to my "wish list".
Didn't realize Hobby Lobby even sold Capellas...
In very limited selections, and quantities. So don't go there thinking you've hit the jackpot lol. Because you will be seriously disappointed.
Butter Rum, Tart & Sour, and Green Apple were the only flavors carried at the one close to me.
And I'm pretty sure the Tart & Sour isn't CAP. But I'm not at home to look at the bottle :/
I have to apologize here, for the bad info. Those flavors are LorAnn, not CAP.

Started looking for CAP Butter Rum but don't think they're making one yet.
I've already got the LA Butter Rum but it tastes like 90% alcohol to me, lol.

I will be mixing this afternoon and tomorrow, so I will Def post if I come up with something. Also reworking my pumpkin spice latte a bit, since the steep has made it go unbalanced.
No prob, PPF, but I'm gonna take a wild stab here that willmc doesn't use LorAnn.
Came up with what I think is a winner, give it a run and let me know what you think! The edge comes off the Butter Rum flavor after about 3 days of steeping.

Wizard Labs sells LA Butter Rum.
I think hobby lobby carries LA flavors, not TFA.
I cannot attest to those, just what I have mixed with.
Now I am second guessing as well. I will log in today to confirm what brand it is. I usually default to TFA, because a majority of my flavors come from them. Wizard does repackage, however, and it is possible that it is another brand. I will double check. Thank you for the heads up.

If you had scrolled down a few more post. You'd have seen I corrected myself, it's LorAnn. But I found that in the candy/baking area.It is LA Butter Rum! Thank you for the correction. I will pay a bit more attention next time.
