Just ordered a few more flavors from wizard labs I try to stick with TFA and Loranns and I ordered TFA vanilla cupcake and haven't received it yet but I got my hopes up on it. So does anybody have a recipe for VC our know a good starting percent for single flavor or mixing any advice is greatly appreciated :D

I don't like to eat vanilla cupcakes. But the juice was pretty good.

Let me know your thoughts on the taste when you try it. I was debating between it and Caps Vanilla Cupcake V2. Reviews say they are similar that I have read. Some say it taste more like a cake batter and mostly cupcake icing. I am curious.

I was a little disappointed with this flavor, seems flat to me. Great base for a cupcake though, personally I like to jazz it up with some FA Vanilla Classic, a bit of FW Yellow Cake and a pinch of AP. YMMV :)

I have heard many were disappointed. FW cupcake is also disappointing. I have yet to find a vanilla type cake or create one worth mentioning.

Personally, I get that from a lot of the vanilla CAP flavors. They start tasting way too similar.
I don't like that cake batter. Many of Capella flavors which contain the baddies leave a funky taste in my mouth I just can't stand. The caps sugar cookie V 2 I actually like, haven't tried original. And I can use their v2 custard under 1%. Heabob gave me the idea of lowering it in reading some of his posts. Thank you for that Heabob!!

Same here. I use them in very small amounts and not too often. They're good in small doses with other mixes, but generally have a taste that reminds of of the cake batter or the VCv1. Not crazy about that flavor, but they get rare/occasional use.

I wasn't too fond of the TFA Vanilla Cupcake either, need to revisit that one someday.
The CAP v1 version seemed better but kinda mild at 5-7%, and ended up at 8% for stand alone.
Edit:But it seemed to gunk my coil pretty bad after 15ml.
Don't seem to get the "Cake Batter" flavor too much that I can recall.
But it's way better when mixed with some other stuff IMO.
Didn't like the CAP Vanilla Cupcake v2 tho...

I have CAP Vanilla Cupcake. I can't find a use for it. Of course, I have issues, maybe mental, with CAP flavors. I love TFA and FA.....LOVE, but CAP always leaves a heavy flavor taste and heaviness in my lungs. I can use Vanilla Custard V2 at low percentages but many on VU use it at 6% and higher. I cannot do that. It is the same with CAP Sugar Cookie V2. I do have a banana laffy taffy like vape that uses CAP Cake Batter that is really good. I posted it on VU several months ago. Cake Batter is only 3%, though. That is probably my limit.

Sorry for so much detail.

I do? U sure? Never mind, I'll just go check. Thank you keeper;)
If it's not in a square Lorann's bottle, it's in an 8ml WL bottle.
And you're most welcome! :D

I just dunno. I honestly believe I have lost my mind. It seems all information is leaking out somehow. Idk. I think you need to have me put somewhere or something.

A just made a 10ml of TFA vanilla cupcake at 10% VC and it tastes awful I'm really not getting any vanilla or cupcake taste from it it's almost like a burn taste so I took out my cotton and out new cotton in it and I'm still getting that taste.. what'd I do wrong? Or is it just not a good flavor

Steeping might help, but I doubt it.
I thought this one just tasted weird to me, and the CAP Vanilla Cupcake was better, at least I could vape it at 8%.

I must be the only person here that likes it. Try cutting it down with unflavored base. Maybe in half. I use it between 3 and 5% and I like it that way.

Hate to think about how many flavors I have that just collect dust now.
That's why I keep telling new DIY'ers to order small 5ml samples first, which I didn't do of course:(.

Maybe so. :)

I tried it standalone at 3% and noted that it had an artifical, plasticy taste. It was pretty bad. Because of that I never tried using it at a higher percentage, but on occasion I have found it useful at very low percentages, .25% or .5% to add a bit of a vanilla cakey flavor to other mixes.

I have only used it at low percentages in mixes, never stand alone but it has made everything I've put it in dry. Custard mixes that are good, add tfa van cupcake and its dry and not good. A good strawberry custard, van cupcake might make it better... nope, dried it out and not good anymore.

Haven't used it in months and probably wont bother with it again.... it sits right next to mary jane :D
