Its Nichrome 80 from the looks of it, the resistance load per length is the same. Make sure all your contacts/contacting areas are spotless and make sure everything that can get loosened is tight. Check your 510 pin, if its adjustable remove the pin and tighten the internal pin behind it. If its still jumping try it on a different mod and see if it still happens. Report your results afterwards.Hey @raymo2u I bought some mad rabbit wire and i don't know if you heard of it or used it but it's a high performance wire that's mostly stainless steel and some other metals. It's got some excellent flavor but I wrapped some regular claptons and the ohms are jumping around a little! The contacts are very tight so it's not that problem. Its the only wire that does this. Do you know why? Is it something I really need to worry about? I can't tell the difference when I hit it. It's jumping from .2 to .24.
Ok I tightened everything and tried a regular kanthal build and it doesn't fluctuate but I did another build with the mad rabbit wire and it fluctuates again so it's gotta be the wire. The vape shop that I bought it from said it's stainless and some other types of metal. Oh yeah it does it with 26 or 24 gauge. Its Nichrome 80 from the looks of it, the resistance load per length is the same. If its your contacts then it can get worse and can cause problems. If its the mod then it may need replacing, an inaccurate mod isnt something you want to keep using. It shouldnt be jumping that much, thats quite some resistance change while sitting.
