So I changed out my triple coil after 2 weeks of use and decided to take it apart. Why you ask...why not. Mainly I was curious as to how they machined the stainless steel core on this booger. Turns out it was really easy. It's not stainless. It a much softer metal that has been plated. Here are a few pictures. You can see in the second picture where I scraped off the coating. The outer shroud is stainless, but nothing else.
