It’s a new month, a new year, and a terrific time to be a LEGO fan. New set releases really petered out in November, and especially in December, when literally zero new sets came out. Thankfully, they’re back in force for January. We have a new Back to the Future set that looks great and is priced at a modest $27.99. We have a new batch of excellent (and not crazy-expensive) Star Wars sets, plus a pair of Stranger Things sets, one of which, unfortunately, has already sold out. Let’s dive in.

No time for blurbs? No problem. Scroll through the catalog above to get a bird's-eye view of the new releases for this month.
LEGO Speed Champions Time Machine from Back to the Future
I recently re-watched the Back to the Future trilogy with my kids and am delighted to report that it holds up beautifully. And now there’s a new LEGO set based on the time-traveling car from the series. It even includes alternate build instructions so you can make it look how it did in the first movie, or the second. It’s currently sold out at Amazon and everywhere else that has a listing — except Barnes & Noble.
LEGO Minifigures Animal Series 28
It’s that time again: time for a new batch of minifigures. This latest series, series 28, is particularly adorable. It’s a bunch of minifigures dressed as animals. There’s a monkey, koala, frog, bunny, dog, and more. Gotta catch ‘em all.
LEGO Stranger Things: The Creel House (Sold Out)
Stranger Things stuck the landing in the finale, if you ask me (or our reviewer). Which makes now a perfect time to release a big, beautiful LEGO set based in the Upside Down (or Vecna’s mind, if you want to get technical). Unfortunately, LEGO Stranger Things: The Creel House, which is exclusive to the LEGO Store, sold out almost immediately after it released as the new year rang in. If you want this $299.99 set, you can hit the listing page and request to be notified when it comes back in stock. I’ll be monitoring the stock situation as well, and will write about it if and when it comes back.
LEGO Stranger Things Brickheadz Figures
On the plus side, there’s also a new set of LEGO Brickheadz based on the Stranger Things crew. The stylized buildable figures featured in this set include Eleven, Max, Holly, and a Demogorgon. This set is backordered, but you can place your order now and you’ll receive it later this month.
New LEGO Star Wars Sets
- BB-8 Astromech Droid - $89.99
- Venator-Class Attack Cruiser - $79.99
- AT-AT Walker - $64.99
- Cobb Vanth's Speeder - $34.99
- Siege of Mandalore Battle Pack - $22.99
- Grogu's Homestead - $19.99
- Clone Shock Trooper Mech - $14.99
- The Mandalorian & Grogu's Speeder Bike - $9.99
I don’t think there’s been a shortage of new Star Wars LEGO setsthis whole millennium. The shortage does not star now, because you can pick up an array of new sets from a galaxy far, far away, including an excellent new AT-AT Walker set, plus a new BB-8. But if you only want to drop $9.99, that Mando & Grogu Speeder Bike is awesome as well.
New LEGO Harry Potter Sets
- Sorcerer’s Stone - Collectors’ Edition - $169.99
- Luna Lovegood's House - $89.99
- Enchanted Flying Ford Anglia - $79.99

- Hagrid & Harry's Privet Drive Escape - $19.99
- Hogwarts Castle: Sorting Hat Ceremony - $14.99
There may be plenty of Harry Potter LEGO sets already, but the release cadence is not slowing down one bit in 2026. A big new batch is now available, including the gorgeous display piece depicting key scenes and characters from the Sorcerer’s Stone.
New LEGO Marvel Sets
- Iron Man Mark 3 Collectors’ Edition - $129.99
- Spider-Man vs. Mysterio: The Daily Bugle - $99.99
- Ravager Jumpsuit Groot - $59.99
- Epic Battle: Hulkbuster vs. The Hulk - $49.97
- Spider-Man Car vs. Venomized Wolverine - $19.99
- Spider-Man vs. Ghost Rider Motorcycle - $9.99
Does the world need this many new Marvel LEGO sets to kick off 2026? Maybe not, but we’re getting them anyway. There’s a wide range of new superhero sets available, with an equally wide range of prices. For my money, that Daily Bugle Spider-Man battle one might be my favorite, but the Iron Man Mark 3 Collector’s Edition gives it a run for its money.
LEGO Star Wars: Death Star and More Big Recent Sets Are Up at Amazon
Previously LEGO Store exclusives, all the major sets above are now available on Amazon. That includes the massive Death Star set we built, Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Ship we also built, the Batman Arkham Asylum set we built, and more besides. Grab any of them if you have the spare change and enough room in your dwelling.
LEGO Architecture Paris – City of Love
Paris is a gorgeous city, and this LEGO Architecture set pays homage in a worthy way. All the major sites are included, from the Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame cathedral to the Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre. It’s designed so you can hang the completed set on your wall, or set it on a shelf for display.
LEGO Icons Autumn Cottage Garden
Some sets are flashy and feature licensed properties, like the Creel House above. Others are more under-the-radar and aimed at adults, but no less remarkable. This Autumn Cottage Garden set looks like the physical embodiment of Zen to me. It’s just a beautiful autumnal scene. What more could you want?
