I've been vaping it lately, too. You reminded me of it. I'd gotten so stuck on pink bubblegum that I had neglected the big red.

If I had to choose only one flavor for vaping, it would definitely be some kind of cinnamon. I love it.

Happy to hear that you like the big red. :D

Btw @LeanPipe what percentage did you use of CRH? If you went lower than 3.5%, I'll try your percentage next time I mix this. Thanks!
I don't remember lol. I mixed it when I had an earache and didn't take notes. I know in the back of my mind I was thinking of 2.5%. I can't remember if I did it. I am thinking that I did.

I don't have the lemonade, so I used one drop per 10 ml of inw lemon instead. I remember that now. I might have written it down, but I don't remember. I am usually more organised, but I was feeling like crap that day.

@nadalama ok, I did write it down. Sorry for my confusion lol. This is how I made it.
30 ml big red
3.5% cin red
1% la cream cheese icing
1 drop inw lemon

So, the same as yours, except no sweetener, and I used one drop inw lemon per THIRTY MLS.
It tastes identical to big red gum. To me, lol

Teresa,
Good concept, and not to rain on your parade, but I think your going to find the 'atty stand' part way too small to be much use. As in tiny 1/8" holes and way too close together.
You may be able to redrill like every third hole big enough, but its only 33" wide overall, how wide could that part be ? 3" ?

Just a whim, not a purchase. I liked the concept and besides, that's why they invented drills. :D

Nice! I use something like this-
076174816853.jpg

I label each drawer. My vanillas in one, creams in another, and some labeled "Various Citrus", "random Capella", ect. I can find my stuff pretty easily. But....I need another lol.

Hey guys, I was wondering something. I heard NicRiver sells the same nic as Vaperstek, or has the same stuff for sale. I've always bought my nic from VT in 240 or 480MLs. I was thinking of going bigger next time and get a liter. I just checked pricing and NR is way cheaper. 55 bucks vs 80. My question is, are these pretty much the same?

I have one with 64 drawers and it's organized by flavors and then mfg. I have Tropical Fruits and Tropical Fruits FA (I have more FA flavors than any other. It drives me nuts having to search for things and this method is great. I did have to buy another one with 48 drawers as my stash just seems to keep growing, no matter how many times I think I'm not buying any new flavors.

Chemnovatic ( from Europe) is the same nic used by both. (also https://wholesale.heartlandvapes.com/ultra-premium-nicotine-100mg-120ml.html )

The mixing with and which PG or VG is used could be different for all. I haven't tried NR, but I can't tell any difference between the other two. (other than price :))

So, I was at this small gathering yesterday, and I joined the small group of smokers outside, and I proceeded to vape. I got this one smoker in my face, and he was really negative about vaping. I explained all that I knew, and how it got me off the cigs etc. You all would know this type of person, I am sure. The thing that I had no answer for, as I have not heard of this, was that vaping puts fluid in your lungs. I did say that I have been vaping since 2012, and that I have recently had a lung investigation due to having suffered a pulmonary embolism. The damage found was fibrous tissue caused by a blood clot. I had no reports of fluid anywhere in my lungs. He said oh it won't show up like that?? Surely they would have reported if I had fluid in my lungs! I have not heard of this before, has anyone else? I have no argument except my own lung scans, but what does happen to the vapour we breathe in? Do we expell? I am wondering what happens when you breathe in steam from a shower, or when you have a cold and put your head over a steam bowl, a sauna etc. Wouldn't that be the same? Probably the wrong place to post this, but does anyone know how to make a comeback?

Actually, if anything; the mixture of Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerin DEHYDRATE you. Especially when inhaled. Most long term vapers experience minor bouts of dehydration, particularly dry skin. Anyone who has vaped (a lot) for longer that a couple years has experienced this. Rip Trippers even documented this side effect on his YouTube channel. I myself have personally experienced this as well.

I know right! Also, we are not vaping water. I get a bit dehydrated if I forget to drink more water.

This read might help you. Just like medications, vaping may cause adverse effects in some people. Please don't flame me for the link.

Thanks for the link. That was interesting, and told me something. Wet lung in this instance was caused by the person's immune sensitivity. It just means that she should not vape. I have a life threatening reaction when I take the antibiotic called Bactrim. I have a sensitivity to it that causes drug induced meningitis. So, what happened to her (also being the first known case) was an unfortunate reaction for her personally. Also, it happened relatively quickly after she started vaping.

Your exactly correct! I'm allergic to some fragrances that can send me into a full hypoxia type episode .I have to be careful with certain flavorings as well. I'm still going to vape.
I'm doing a lot of research related to autoimmunity and disease. I have a autoimmune disease.

Me too! I have scleroderma and srojdgens syndrome. I then later went on to develop graves disease. In a way I think maybe I am lucky to have three. I have not got the severity as some people do with just one. Balance maybe?? I got interested in researching the different blood stain patterns. I reckon mine started when I had glandular fever at age 18. You can only do your best, and fuck the rest!

Here is what I do. The first step is always to name things. This is important because we like to play games and one of those is not confronting reality. I like to use the Socratic method. A lot of people are resistant to this and if so, I'll just excuse myself from speaking with them. I'm under no obligation to explain, educate or listen to anyone. That's key to remember.

So, I'll begin by asking them what do we know to be true about smoking. I'll get them to say, not agree, but to actually say that smoking does nothing but severe harm to humans. Then I'll ask them if they believe they are immune to these results. Then I ask them if they would like to remove this harm they are doing to themselves. If at any point they start defending smoking, I know they're either an idiot or just an argumentative asshole. At this point, I'll stop talking to them. You can't convince either of anything. I'll then ask if there was a method that had a high rate of success in quitting smoking without going through all the anguish that going cold turkey creates, would they like to do so. If they say yes, I then will begin to explain harm reduction and vaping.

The key here is to get them to acknowledge they are slowly killing themselves with smoking. But they need to say it, not you. I've encountered smokers who actually believe that they occupy some type of higher ground than vapers. As if there is some type of hierarchy of self-imposed harm. It's a ludicrous idea, but understandable if one understands people's needs to always make themselves feel better than others. Our goal is to make them name what they are doing and then show them the path to stop this behavior without assaulting their emotions. It's an empathetic approach that people will respond to quite willingly. Bear in mind that all smokers (in most countries) understand that they are viewed as pariahs by the general society. If I can have a dialog without any antagonism, then they will be open to at least listening without trying to counter every thing I say to them. Again, if they're not open to this sort of exchange, fuck 'em, let them kill themselves, it's their life, not mine.

You're right bobnat, I don't shove vaping up people's arses. I do help people who come to me and are interested in how vaping got me off my cig habit. I will help anyone who wants my advice. I just encountered this arsewipe kent of a person who wanted to make me feel bad. Honestly, as he was puffing away like king of the lung universe, with his negative opinions about his theory of vaping, I should have just told him to fuck off. But I didn't have the guts.

Some people need the proverbial kick in the nuts before they realize that they're in danger from smoking. My wife for instance. I haven't talked to anyone about this but last week we found out she has lymphoma. Not from cigarettes but still a kick in the nuts. She's kicking herself now for now vaping with me the past few years. But she gave away her carton of smokes and picked up the my Blu pod and hasn't touched a cig since. Some people take warnings of others. I'm the same way though. I don't listen for the most part until I experience the dumbassery that was explained to me would happen.

Thank you. And she seems happy with the my Blu for now. I'm gonna say until she goes to vape and the battery dies. Lol. Then we'll upgrade her to something else. Baby steps u guess. She still doesn't have the "take care of stuff" thing yet. Just throw it in the purse and go. Lol.

My thoughts are with you, and it would be hard. The good thing that she is trying to quit now. I quit in 2012, and I was riddled with health problems. I felt so much better, and I got a lot more energy. Unfortunately for me, I felt so good that I bought a dirt bike and I had a lot of fun until I slid out and hurt myself, causing more problems lol. But, smoking, as much as I enjoyed it, made me tired. Vaping doesn't have that effect. Your wife will feel a lot better, and I would just start her on RDA??? That is more taste and you can get her a mtl like a speed revolution. I dunno, these pods etc, I think RDA is the best choice really???

I think his wife won’t like an rda, maybe a top airflow rta. she just wants no fuss, toss in her handbag & go. Or the LV Orion from what I hear is great for tossing into your purse. But its pricey & having to buy pods.

Thank you for that. I was going to buy her another penguin but she said she'd rather just stay with the Blu pod. I have a tendency to over buy. When she wanted to give it a shot a while back I bought in one day the penguin, a juul, a sourin air and a bunch of different juice in a higher nicotine than I vape. Then turned around and bought 360ml of diy hawk sauce. Juice from another member here. Then I started MTL myself with some of what I bought her. I've bought 3 mods since Thursday so we'll see if I can get her hooked up with something else. I gotta get her to handle it better like keeping it upright and being a little more careful. But we'll get there. World of knowledge at our fingertips. I may even see if she wants to start an account here as well. So she can have someone more than me to talk about vaping and the wonderful community we have here. I talk about you guys all the time because I have noone but y'all to talk about vaping.

Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that and you guys are definitely in my thoughts today. I’m glad she’s heeding the warnings of the universe and switching to vaping. I hope the surgery goes well and she’s up and going soon....and yeah, sometimes it does take something like this to move people to change. It sucks, but that’s human nature sometimes. :hug:Hopefully, she doesn’t kick herself too hard and just focuses on getting better. I know it was(still is) hard for me.

Me too! From what I’ve read, EBV(mono, glandular fever) is a huge trigger in developing auto immune diseases. Trying to find balance is key, but oh so trying!

I have a piece of advice.....there is SO MUCH info out there about autoimmune diseases. Like almost too much. I have to take breaks from time to time because researching consumes me. The diets, supplements, meds, fads, curable or not, hippy dippy stuff, etc.....take breaks. Clear your mind and just focus on doing what makes you feel better, whatever that is. I’m sure I’m preaching to the choir, but it’s something I have to remind myself from time to time. I can get a little obsessive about stuff........

Yup! This is such a great place with such great, supportive people. And the knowledge! Couldn’t ask for any better. It’s overwhelming at first, but she’d find her niche. I have no one else to talk about vaping with, either. VU has been a life saver for me.

@Heartsdelight I seen you were getting DIYFS flavorings, I won that a month ago and must say they have great(but expensive) flavorings. The holy vanilla is amazing, I got that and angel food cake and gooey butter cake. They are all great and despite the price I’m gonna get more when I run out because they are that amazing. I recommend angel food if you like angel food cake. They somehow replicate that light airy sweet cakeness which was delicious to taste. The gooey butter cake was amazing as well. I just wish I was rich because they are three for three and I’d like to try all their stuff. This isn’t hyperbole I love their stuff. It’s the best flavorings I’ve ever tried , no joke. Good luck choosing you’re gonna love them.

Thank you! Amazingly i placed my order Thursday & only had to pay shipping it arrived this morning.
I choose 60ml of Holy Vanilla, 30ml of Birthday Cake, Gooey Butter Cake & Pound Cake. They include a 10ml of Holy Po Po. Did you mix them standalone? What % did you use?

I’ll try Angel Cake on my next order.

Exactly. If that's what works for her then wonderful. I would love to get her squonking though. And I really think she needs to sign up here. Be more than just me to talk to about life as well as vaping. Greatest place I've ever been.

Yes, she should join here. I think this group is awesome. Get so much advice, and she will have some fun and get her mind off stuff. We will have her mixing recipes and buying flavors in no time lol.

Sorry to hear! I do keto for inflammation and it does seem to help. As a nurse I thought I was invincible :) Not true! I'm just trying to knock out the Autoimmune liver disease to survive.

Sorry to hear. My mom had non Hodgkin type. Healing thoughts sent your way.

I take meds for AIH. I'm just trying to figure out if there is a "Why" and a "How" to my autoimmune. So far its a "shit happens" kinda thing for me. :)
I am pretty good with the diet, and I am basically keto. Thanks to vaping, I can get the taste of cake without eating any lol
