Ubisoft Massive will start permanently banning cheaters in The Division on PC when the newest patch goes live.
Discussing the issue on the latest State of the Game episode, via PC Gamer, Massive's Yanncik Banchereau said patch 1.1 adds a feature for players to easily report cheating.
To use the feature, players will use the "/report
" command, which will flag a user for Ubisoft to review manually. The manual process helps to weed out false reports, which come about when players assume someone is cheating because of high-level equipment or skill.
