Sorry it was onion harvest time, I posted pictures in my garden threadToday is a good day. I got logged in AND I got more than one click! But no new memes... boo.
I keep trying every day. Some days I make it and some days I don't.
And the ladies wore DRESSES. Dollars to doughnuts, there are high heeled pumps on their feet as well. I remember my mom always wore a dress and high heels every day, and she was a stay at home mom for a good long time. She had a collection of aprons to protect her pretty dresses when she was cooking or cleaning up.
1975 - Best summer of my entire life. I was a halter top wearing, short-shorts and high heels wearing drag racer in the days when there was only one other female racer, and she only came out for the weekend races. AND, I worked on my own car. Those were the days...
Back in the day of real diapers these were used
I remember those duck pins! I was 8 years old when my youngest sister was born, so I had some of the diaper changing duties. Those were some BIG pins!

You betcha, and back then, she'd give me a note telling the store clerk she needed x-number of packs (or a carton) of cigarettes, and they'd give them to me. Guess how I started buying my own cigarettes when I was 14? My mother had beautiful, very forgeable, handwriting. And cigarettes were cheap back then! A whole carton cost less than $4.00.

Rich still has his, and it looks very much like that one. He never shines his cowboy boots anymore (he never WEARS his cowboy boots anymore), but he still has the kit.
This is my uncles, a beauty she is. Rode in her once as a child, won't ever forget. Lol, in my favourite colour.
