Hadn't thought about them in many of years and didn't know they were still around.

Did anyone make these when you were growing up?

I know I did at least one, this is going to sound weird, but just by seeing this I know I had just don't really remember remember. Hopefully, someone understands what I'm saying. Too many head concussions before the age of 10.

It was 100 yrs ago that the Dum Dum Lollipop was invented by the Akron Candy Co., and in 1932 the company mad a big promotion of the shipment of ONE MILLION DUM DUMS. The hit song On The Good Ship Lollipop by Shirley Temple in '34, probably boosted sales too. Shortly after death of the owner in 1937, the company moved to Bellevue, Ohio. and in '53 they were bought by the Spangler Candy Co.& moved to Bryan, Oh. And today 12 million Dum Dums are made ea day in the Lollipop Capital of the world, Bryan, Oh..

And I went to parochial school for six years in grade school, and then again for a year in high school. I was definitely one of the good kids, so I never got that ruler across my knuckles. ;)

YES! My Nana told me that one, too, and I lived in fear of accidentally swallowing a seed for years!

Uhhhhh, what do they look like now? Ours had a little blue lamb decal on it.

Killing bugs. Before Raid came in a can, LOL!

Egg slicer, and I still use mine that I got from my Nana.

Ooops, I see Gopher Byrd beat me to the last two. :)

I worked at a place called Realty Tax Service, sorting and shipping tax bills from the counties to the banks, to be passed on to the mortgage holders. I refused to work at McDonald's.

MMMM Easter treats that hardly anyone liked but everyone got

Those things were AWFUL! So much sugar! I tried some, but they made the hair on the back of my neck stand up, they were so sickly sweet, and that was when I was a sugar-inhaling kid! I don't know how anybody could eat more than one of those.

When I was 16, my high school boyfriend's mom had a '65 Dodge Coronet with a pushbutton shift. I thought that was the coolest thing ever!

I don't remember cassettes in a Teddy bear, when was that? Probably after my time...

And I've never seen a firefly in my life. I must be very deprived. :(
