You HAD to always carry a bottle of clear nail polish with you or that pesky run would run alllll the way up! The worst ones were the surprise ones that you didn't know you had until you squatted down to get in the bottom file drawer, and then zzzzzzip! Too late for nail polish in that case, ROFL!

Every day was a new, blank slate, and we could put anything on it we wanted. As long as we were home by dark.
The ones that are made now suck. When nephews were young, grandmother bought one for each nephew and didn't do the same as the older ones do.Who remembers
Now the lava doesn't heat up and move around. So, I use the base of one as a night light in bathroom, it isn't as bright as the original light in bathroom.

Cinnamon toast with some whipped cream on top and a drizzle (just a tiny drizzle) of homemade chocolate syrup. Just YUM!We had the little rectangular floor vents, so we had to thaw one foot at a time.
