Except it wasn't in color, and those aren't the Beatles.
I have an interesting story about the Beatles. The real ones.

Back in 1965, I think it was, they came to Portland, Oregon for a concert. There was a lady that my mom worked with years later that at the time was a (oh, shoot, I can't remember the name)... one of those people that arranged things for visiting celebrities. Anyway, they couldn't put the Beatles in a hotel because of the crowd control problem, so this lady put them up at her house. They found out at dinner that John couldn't stand broccoli and wouldn't touch it, LOL! Anyway, they did the concert and got back on the plane and left.
Several years later, when this lady and my mom worked in the same office, the lady was getting rid of the couch that she had back when the Beatles stayed with her, and she offered it to my mom, who gratefully accepted. Well, by then my best friend and I were total Beatlemaniacs, and we freaked out, having THE couch that all four Beatles had sat on (and one of them slept on that night, but we didn't find out which one). My friend surreptitiously cut a swatch of fabric from the dust cover underneath the couch and put it in her Beatles scrapbook. I haven't spoken to her for many years now, but if I had to make a bet, I'd put money on the fact that she still has that swatch of dirty fabric from the Famous Beatle Couch, LOL!
