Back in the early 70s, when I was in the 8th grade (how old is that?) I was babysitting a 3 year old boy and his infant sister every Saturday night for $1 an hour. I usually made $5 a week, and I WAS RICH!

Who remembers when leather was big
I still have all my tools, and some pieces I made. My best one is a large leather notebook (3-ring binder type). I didn't do a lot of stamping, I carved everything. That was so much fun, and the stuff was so beautiful!

That HAS to be a joke. I can't believe that was a thing, even in the 50s.
In other news, did anyone else have trouble getting on here the last few days? I couldn't get VU to come up at all for the last three days, although I was gone today, so I didn't get a chance to check in until just now.
