Yeah, Jon Stewart took over the Daily Show from Craig Kilborn and Craig Ferguson took over the Late Show from the same dude. So ... it's all Craig Kilborn's fault?

Everything Beautiful Is Far Away - Grandaddy

Yeah, I've watched the Daily Show from its second week on the air. Kilborn's schtick was especially tiresome on the Late Late Show. Losing Colbert and Stewart - boom boom like this - it's just no kind of right. What, does he think he's gonna be some great movie director now? His movie was okay. We've already got loads of good directors. We only have one fucking Jon Stewart. Yeah, lots of the show's about a top shelf writing staff, but he's crucial at the helm. Yes, I'm ranting on your music thread, bob. What do you care? You live in a fucking cave, for Christ's sake! Get off my back!

...and, yes, moe beat me, but AND's in Grandaddy. Oh, it's a dark day when even my dearly beloved Muppets won't keep me from scowling...

Hee hee. :)

The rules are pretty loose. Just learn to play with others and if a couple of posts collide, no biggie. Play off of one or the other and keep the game going. :)

All I Really Need To Know I Learned in Kindergarten
  • Share everything.
  • Play fair.
  • Don't hit people.
  • Put things back where you found them.
  • Clean up your own mess.
  • Don't take things that aren't yours.
  • Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody.
  • Wash your hands before you eat.
  • Flush.
  • Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you.
  • Live a balanced life - learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some.
  • Take a nap every afternoon.
  • When you go out in the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands and stick together.
  • Be aware of wonder. Remember the little seed in the Styrofoam cup: the roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are all like that.
  • Goldfish and hamsters and white mice and even the little seed in the Styrofoam cup - they all die. So do we.
  • And then remember the Dick-and-Jane books and the first word you learned - the biggest word of all - LOOK.
