You have at least two people anxious to hear about your DS clone! The pictures I saw all showed iffy quality, and some with missing screws...does yours work well?
I'm sorry, I did say I would report back.
I have traded it for a different device. I personally didn't like it.
The main reason I bought it was to see if I liked the design before I spent the money on an original. That and the fact that I couldn't find a DS anywhere.
I didn't like the size, I found that for me it was just awkward. Maybe I could have got used to it.
Also I don't like the fact that you need a tool to change the batteries, and then you have to unscrew both battery screws and the cap that holds the bottle as well in order to remove the bottom cover.

If you give me til thursday ill be able to do a comparison of the ds clone and ts auth. Gadget and i actually traded yesterday and his ds is on the way to me and gets here tueaday. He wasnt fond of it.

Good luck in your squonking quest !! I liked my squonker but felt that I got a more consistently good vape from my RTA's. Squonking seems to be really taking off right now. I noticed that even my local B&M is carrying a couple of squonk mods.
RTAs for me tend to be finicky for some reason. RDAs treat me well!
Thanks for the info. Sadface...if I ever get a squonker it needs to hold 2 batteries and not be over $50, so my fingers are still crossed
Decided to break this out for an over night work session. I find it more difficult to squonk in the dark. I just hate filling this thing. Leaks like 2ml every time.

It's an ipv3 li and the Omega Bft plus tank. Have the 12 ml bubble on instead if the 8. Which is great since you lose 2ml on every fill-up. Lol

Look real close in the bottom of the screen, mine was the Halloween Edition but it had a Logo at the bottom of the screen that looks like a bat. You have to hold it just right in the light to see it.

I done the software upgrade right off the bat, without it the device shuts off after a predetermined time and you have to click 5 times to turn it back on.
The software gives you the option to turn that off.
So far I'm impressed, I found it in an open box sale for under $40.

Follow up:
These are my opinions only.
Using SMM RDA single coil
SS Clapton 0.27 ohms
TC mode 385° 45 watts.
I vaped on this thing for 14+ hrs (the puff counter registered 288 puffs) before I had to change the batteries.
TC mode works great, there is no adjustment for pre-heating but it performs quite well.
When setting the TC mode up you can adjust the watts up to 100 then if you keep pressing it goes to "Auto".
Auto actually works quite well, I personally like setting it myself.
I read and watched many reviews before making this purchase and I seen several complaints about the fire button sticking.
I have tried to get this one to stick but I can't make it, I've pressed sideways, from the top, from the bottom, you name it and no sticking here.
For the price this is a hard one to beat.
A dual battery device that's easy to use, easily carried in a pocket, it looks good and it performs well.

I have the dripbox150 from kangertech and I'm pretty sure it was just under $50. It's actually a pretty good mod. It could be considered to be on the bulky side but it's not ridiculously big.
I decided that I much prefer my rta's over squanking so if you want to trade for mine or buy it fairly cheap send me a pm.
