This is a great mod, but it would be so much better with a 21700.

I'm going to get some measurements when I get a chance and see if I can get somebody to bore it out for me. Of course it would have to be done without disturbing the threads, but with that floating widely adjustable positive pin, the length shouldn't be an issue at all.

I necro'd one of your posts here about the SS TCR for my X-Priv Baby.
It works nicely with the Baby tank and the RBA head now.



FWIW: the stock SS TCR setting of 108 is ridiculous.
What are those stock coils using?? It sure ain't TEMco Annealed SS316L, that's for certain.

I'm not going to say that smok mods are premium tc devices, but I have three and with a bit of tweaking, they can be made to do decent and perfectly usable temperature control. At least for stainless steel which is all I've tried.

I didn't even remember if the RBA deck came with coils or not. If it does, how do you know they are stainless steel? Does it say so somewhere?

If they are kanthal life will be an extraordinary bummer in temp control mode.
