It's a faux stabwood I believe. It's pretty nice. Feels more like a small rubberization on it though.
Very cool! It reminds me of the Starry Night finish on a GeekVape Blade I had but the Yihi looks way cooler.

Totally up to you muh dude. I don't let my mods patina, but some like the aged look.
The look it has reminds me of a 1925 75mm artillery casing I have...I’d leave it.

I like both looks. This mod patinas rather quickly. My Broadsides takes much longer, like a few weeks. The Praxis will patina within a few days.
