I love it as well. Probably the best threading and button feel on any mod I own. Small dislikes: goes to sleep and takes 5 clicks to wake up, and low batt warning no fire waaaaaay to early. Something like 3.6 I think. Fires after that, but takes a second click.
I have been kickin around a dot squonk, especially with a few up here, jusk idk, alot of my squonks already sit around quite a bit....

Yes, I love my DotMods and have had several. I have 3 right now and I agree with the con of the auto shut off, it's a real pain!

No, I've never had that issue on any of mine.
If it's a known issue there may be a firmware update available.

I've had a couple that people complained were notorious leakers and they did leak on me the first try, but I'm stubborn and always figure it out. It's a work in progress, I've been slowly stripping it down and intend to dye it. Have to replace the 510 spring as it's a little wore out. Definitely a great mod though and I'm me of my fav printed mods for sure

You could dye it a darker color and use a contrast color if crayon to color the theetters and symbol. Like this toaster mod. Some crayon coloring which can be removed and swapped. Talk about customized
Truth be told, I have never done a firmware update on anything, but would like to give it a try. Is it as easy as just plugging in the usb and following instructions? (I'm hoping)

Only complaint I have is having to use the plastic af insert to get it where I want. That thing is a piece. But... I have the kindbright inserts coming to hopefully take care of that
