Yes, that's the only drawback.
I took it apart and bent the fire bar in slightly, it made it a lot easier. If you do that the lock won't work, but I never use those anyway.
It's such a small amount you don't notice it.

This was my beloved wife's daily driver. She said she had the best vape rig available. She used it every day for 2 years. On the 26th of last month The Good Lord called her home after a very long illness. She used it untill 2-3 days before she passed. I believe vaping as opposed to smoking increased her time here with me on this Earth. They originally gave her 6 months. And she was in hospice care for 2 and 1/2 years. I completely feel as though The Vaping extended her time. This is now my daily driver. And she is right it is a damn good vape. Is it the best one available? Yes it is because it was hers. Peace and love to all.

Yep I bought several as well. First one I traded a charger for one in fair condition but worked perfectly for 2 years. Then I got a couple more so Kimmy would have back ups. This is her 2nd Tempest. The first one I pif'd as it still worked perfectly. There great once you get used to the menu.
I grabbed 2(a wht n blk) of them while back. Decent performers especially at that price point.
Probably as close as you can get to American made from the Chinese market. I believe one of CoV's selling points is "designed" in the USA.

The county directly to the east of us has Fog Days. They need 'em, too. There are a couple of huge lakes and those puppies make their own weather. I nearly killed myself driving to work one morning on one of their highways. Work truck and a van had collided, neither one made it off the pavement, and I had to drive like a damn stunt driver because I couldn't see them until I was nearly ON them.
Schools are not normally out for whole days, but they have a bunch of 2-hour delays and such.
Pretty soon we'll be seeing global warming days off.. but you got the perfect mod for the flood, isn't that thing waterproof?
