Ikr, I mean we might as well call it April. Don't ever remember a snow near that late here. Zero shoveling involved, so eh, I'll take the beauty of it šŸ˜

I remember snow in mid-April in Carolina a time or two, so it can definitely happen. The weather is even crazier now than it was back then.

I like snow fine, as long as I don't have to drive in it. If I can stay in here and make soup, it's just fine with me. :)

BP Mods Insider - it's good! 3.5mm AF pin installed and it's delightful. Budget Bridge Brigade! And for those folks who don't like fill plugs, the top of the chimney can be swapped out with an included part for use in a standard boro tank.

Lazy dayā€¦

Sitting in the car while the wife grabs her lunch from Liberty Station.

Wife took a ā€œwellnessā€ day todayā€¦ so we went bikingā€¦ PTO so why not

It was at her pace, sheā€™s tired and soreā€¦ I barely got warmed up

I do more elevation rides than flat with a few more milesā€¦ like Pio Pico which is 12m but 3000ā€™ of climbing to the top, so 6 miles of huffing and puffingā€¦ and 6 miles of ā€œWeeee!ā€

When we lived in fountain Valley there were 4 of us that would ride to the Salton sea on the weekend. I remember the first ride well. Thought I was going to die lol. First few trips by the time we got there it was time to head back if we wanted to get home Sunday evening lol.

I could probably do some serious distance on a road bikeā€¦ and seriously debated buying one.

But coming from a MX background, mountain was the bike of choice.

The technical climbs wear me out, even some of the trails I do that are only 5 miles longā€¦ just that 3500 or so elevation, is plenty to get a good work out in.

I still might buy a roadieā€¦ just not sure I can ever do the whole road bibs Lycra tighties

I don't think tights were a thing then. Early 70's lol. We wore t-shirts and shorts. Sweats if it got cold and trash bags if it rained lol.

I've found it's not as awkward to hold and use as I thought it would be. Which is a very good thing, lol
I agree, it's not bad at all.
Looks like it uses a 6 volt lantern battery lol.
That's not even the tank that came with it!
That's a Viking/Ragnar 35mm, it came with a Titan 41mm that holds 32ml of juice!

I have exacty one. And it's a shorty for the negative contact. What are the odds? Lol
I was going through stuff one day and it was stuck to a magnet. No clue where it came from šŸ¤£ Anyway, looks like it could be a touch lighter? But you are welcome to it if you want it?

The screws on mine in that pic look darker than they do in person. In any case any blue would look better than the was it is lol.
