My good 'ol AGA-T2+ finally had it's coil give up the ghost, so built this using the same ancient #400 SS wick.

A classic 4/5 wrap, but using homemade twisted 33 gauge Kanthal for 1.6 Ohms.
Works nicely on my MVPv2 at 8-9W.

Getting the hang of a new Sat22 and really enjoying it. Big warm flavor and vapor, smaller than my Kayfun nano while holding a bit more juice and breathing much better (drilled out).

My funky home brew coiler. Good grip and leverage allows for a lot of tension. Also it's somehow easier now to hold the spool in my winding hand and cut when finished, conserving wire. :)

Still tweaking it. Gonna increase the topmost flat area to allow for longer straighter ends.

took about a week to patina, but not sure if I want to clean it and start over or keep as it is ;)

Its an aluminum bronze, so its supposed to get grayer over time. It takes a little more time than brass or copper to patina, but also takes more effort to clean up as well.

Aluminum, huh. Hope it doesn't scratch off. What's the mod?

Its a mod from the UK, Mikro Engineering Challenger MK2 w/ a Satburn designed switch.

I'm no metal expert, let alone even a novice, but the bronze or aluminum isn't plated as far as I can tell. I would even say the material seems to be more robust than brass.

Thank you kindly...I want to get about a dozen for giveaways.
Do you? Nice one mate. Well they're batteries, so they'll send them via Singapore post. But I bough half a dozen evods from ft in October and it only took two weeks. But Im in the UK and can't vouch for delivery times to the US but it shows things are on the up.

Check these out for price. They look and feel so good in the hand as opposed to just viewing them on the web and are such good quality. Anyway, that's for a different thread. http://www.fasttech.com/products/3001/10005271/1643500

Singapore packets get to me in a month. I get my razor blades from there along with odd bits from local friars. Oddly, post from Kuala Lumpur takes a week longer!
Sorry, I edited my post to add extra info whilst you were replying.

I am all over that deal!
Amen to that. It's expensive giving to new vapers lol. But if you're going to help someone then you have to give them something that's affordable for yourself but decent for them and these meet that need I think.
