Man I was looking on the Facebook market place and someone is selling the alien kit and wants $150 for it because it comes with 2 siegili batteries and a crappy 2 bay charger lol. Long story short i called them out and they took it down lol

Ya they messaged me saying they want to get sell it for that price to get a tattoo. Was like dude I can buy that kit brand new with warranty get 2 high end batteries and a d4 charger and a bottle of juice less then $150

I finally got around to trying out the Goon and it's a very good RDA indeed.
I intended to pair it with a Lost Vape Triade (red leather door); however, my Triade decided to die after a mere three puffs
Batteries die or died die?
Batteries are fine (I've tried 4 different sets). I hope it's not "died die" but it sure is looking that way; the mod and its display screen is non-responsive.
I'm not sure.. I took three puffs and at the fourth attempt I believe I heard a quiet electrical pulse but no vapour was produced. The mod, including its screen, is not showing any sign of life.
It's a pity

I'd say it's working better then the alien which is just ok.
It also has a nichrome mode I found after searching. I'll test it but I only have 1 pair of nichrome coils the ones that came with the navigator so I only have one shot at it

It has a decent chip. A lot of YouTube reviewers have reviewed the device.

well once i get a chance to work on my testing procedure if it all works well i can do DJLsb style reviews and get really technical with the chips. thats what i'm working towards
I checked and fasttech discontinued the ones I ordered a few months back. I will have to find some replacements for them now because I want more of them.

according to the DJLsb vapes testing the wismec chip is pretty bad on temp control very jumpy and inaccurate. the alien fared a little better but isn't gonna be FSK or DNA level by any means. There is no testing on the battlestar currently. I plan to do that eventually but just from a feel of it, I'd say it surpasses the alien for sure
Maybe I will do some more looking around. I haven't noticed any issues with my rx, been running smooth though.

So far, so good. I'm not usually a fan of top airflow, but this isn't bad at all. Pretty easy to build on, too.
Plenty of room - I have a pair of SS316L fused Claptons in it. 2x28/40, 3.0mm I.D., 9/10 wraps.
