got the gob mini v3, couple of drip tips and beauty ring from FT. i got the ring specifically for the gob mini, but it doesnt fit due to the AFC control nubs. i also think the knurling would impede it as well. it's 22 at the base and bows out to 23-24mm, sorta like the billow v2. i wish i had known this, i would not have ordered the ring. oh well. it was $2 ;)

i was a huge OG gob mini fan, and i like this one better. better build options for single and dual coils, easier to fill, juice control seems to work well, has an actual bottom to block all of the condensation from getting on your mod/510 connection. flavor and vapor production is a little better due to being able to fit larger builds. better drip tip configuration. only step back this one took is 2mL vs 3mL juice capacity of the OG. other than that, this one is superior in every other way. this one is a little larger, but i don't think that's really a con because it needed to be a little larger to accommodate the bottom plate and juice control.

The Beast in SS. Haven't had time to build it yet. How does she vape?

Dammit boost, it looks even better in SS!

So far no leaks which is great, wicking is a little tricky to try and not get dry hits. It has a spit back guard in the chimney, not a big fan of those so I took it out with a carbide bit on a dremel, tricky but doable. I am getting better results now but will try smaller 3mm ID coils next time instead of the 3.5mm I used.

Damn it just seen that! Oh well at least you can block the bottom AF and hit the side of the coils. I will try some 3mm ID coils tomorrow:cheers:

In BLACK they are only $20.
$15 of you use code FLASH25
However the stainless one is $23.99 MORE so even though it is polished stainless (looks 4 times better than brushed) due to price difference I will have to pass on the stainless.
Spit back guard? Mine didn't have one.
Even though I would also remove it as you have, I feel I have been short changed.
I want my spit back guard so I can remove it damn it!
Still fairly new to building so I'll share something that anyone with experience would already know;
Dual 26ga SS wire with 12 wraps 4mm is a BAD idea.
No flavor, 15 minute ramp up time.
hahaha
live n learn
However the dual 5/6 wrap 26/32ga Clapton 3.5mm works real well.
I also have no leaks on either the Beast or the Alpha BFT.

If you look down the drip tip you don't see the spit back guard? It is down near the bottom of the chimney.

Code-3 vapor had the SS for 26.00 shipped. It's worth that in scrap weight:giggle:

ohhhh you mean that small piece that looked like it was a tab that used to come on model cars way back in my childhood.....yeah that WAS there and I forgot I had already removed it.
haha
It is laying on the F12 key of my keyboard because I couldn't decide what I wanted to do with it.
Figured it looked like something I could alter and put on the lens of a flashlight and make it appear like the bat signal.
