We don't have problems when we're in the know, but it's the unknown that drives us crazy. Thanks for the heads-up, but it's my opinion you should stay on the list. I've seen some of your posts, and you're very helpful.
Click their user name in any post, a pop-up with a mini profile for that person will appear, and "start a conversation" is the link to the right of "profile page". Click the start a conversation link and you'll be taken to the screen to send an IM/PM/Convo - whatever you want to call it.

I'm very sorry for that. @bugoutmachine is going to help me a bit with this and sorting out the second box. There are hundreds of messages to sort trough. I have all the stuff for the second box but haven't had any time to get the list together. Bear with me. Once the list is together PIF 2 is going out.
For this box I spoke with obsolete and it's going out tomorrow morning. It's gigantic at the moment and costs about $20 to ship. If anyone does not want that box. I'm going to step in and take it and make 2 even boxes out of it. So it will become PIF 3.
As for pictures, it would be cool to have people take pictures with the box as that was one of the main things.
Here's what I'm going to do. PIF 1 comes to me. I'm going to split it and send to next in line for PIF 1 and PIF 3 will randomly start from 20-30 on this list. PIF 2 will be all the newcomers with the stuff I have.

I think basically how @Dhim is going to do it is wicking stuff in a small box that ships cheap and fast. That will be box three. The juice donated so far and any hardware will stay in box one.
I have all the wicking I need to last a lifetime. With plenty to share

Just want to make sure I got my address to you.NO, please PM me your address (so I can verify and log it) and then I will send the address of the next person in line to receive the box, etc. The whole point is to document who is possession of the box(es) with at least a hundred dollars worth of merchandise between each shipment.
This way if the boxes go missing, YOU guys are not liable as I will have records of the starting and ending point of each shipment and the Tracking # for each transition. This also helps if any liability matters come to light. Although I doubt this will happen as we have quite the kickass community!
Speaking of which, I have the current Tracking # from @Obsolete and once it has reached it's destination, the entire box is going to be shipped to either @Dhim or myself and we are BOTH going to physically go through the box, discuss how to split it up so that it will be cost efficient for each person on the list and ensure this is done properly under the current proposed model.
You all have to realize that the current "VU PIF Box" is unlike any other site of forums PIF in the history of vaping. This entire process may need to be reevaluated. That said, everyone who is on the list or has posted that they want in WILL be eligible for the PIF. It just may not continue it's course under the current circumstances.

So I know I've been a somewhat quiet lurker, and for that I am sorry but I'm here and watching over. So far, I have only seen a couple issues. None really major.
1) You guys need to mug up and take a damn selfie! That's 90% of the fun of this thread. Seeing who gets the box and putting a face to the avatars. See the post from @VapingJunkie. That's how you PIF properly.
2) You guys need to TAKE MORE! If people put in 100ml worth of juice and then take out a 10ml the box is going to get large, fast. Even if flavors are too strong, the next time you go to "The Mart" buy a 2 dollar bottle of VG and cut that stuff down! I don't care, but take
3) I know you guys want some PIF loving, and after the current member has it, its coming back to me where I am going to split it up. It will be a regular PIF box. I have an idea to control this PIF shipping getting out of hand, but first I want to see what is actually in the box when it comes to me. One option is when I split it, I put it in a flat rate priority medium box. That locks the shipping at 12 bucks no matter the weight, as long as you can seal the box and it doesn't go over 75lbs, it ships. Tracking is included in the price and it forces everyone to keep the box a reasonable size. In fact, I'm fairly certain that is what I'm going to do.
Now about people getting antsy, the rules state you have 3 business days to ship it unless you notify us in the thread for a reason. Weekends, holidays, and zombie apocalypses don't count. Don't assume the worst in people, here at VU we should all be half full type of folk! In the most recent case, it was over a $20 shipping bill + labor day weekend + going back to school. We can cut a little slack there right?
So what are we going to do with PIF 1 (the current), PIF 2 (the totally new one I have the stuff for thanks to @PondScum, and PIF 3 (the split of PIF 1).
When PIF 1 comes to me, I'm going to split it evenly. Then send out the split to the next in line for PIF 1 and contact a random number between 20 and 30 on PIF 1 list, who will be the start of PIF 3. For now those two lists are closed! This will give you all a nice short wait and being the originators, this gives you a nice short grab at them.
Now for PIF 2 the new box. I am going to open a new thread and ask for who wants it. I am going to give it until Monday, September 8th. ANYONE who is NOT on the current PIF list can enter. There are over 1000 posts between the 2 original threads and honestly that has been the major stopping point for me to sort through and get it going. It's simply too much to go through each post and see who said they want in. So for PIF 2, on the thread I create, just simply say you want in and that is the new list. As Rip would say, "Easy Peezy, Chicken Sleezy" or something like that.
I am going to order that gigantic box of Rayon. Debox it and bag it the heck up, toss it in a box suitable for USPS first class shipping and make a wick box. Anyone can get on this. Take as much or as little as you want. When its out, I'll just send a new box to the next one in line. The only thing you could PIF in that box is wicking material. You can ship a 12x12x12 box via USPS first class and as long as it doesn't go over a pound (you have any idea how much a pound of cotton actually is?) it ships that way. Once I have confirmed tracking of the box, I'll post that thread. All the wicking material that @VapingJunkie sent for PIF will be going out in the real PIF boxes as intended, and their is a lot of it so you guys will get your hands on it that way as well.
Phew that was long, but hey this is what happens when an Italian from Jersey goes quiet for too long. It has to come out eventually!
