The all-new Joyetech Riftcore DUO atomizer from Joyetech is a coilless atomizer that utilizes dual plates with high grade metal that is said to be built to last years. The Joyetech Riftcore DUO is very different in how it heats up the cotton and e-juice because it doesn't use coils and can self-clean by simply firing the device to heat up the plates. That looks a bit like it could be a carbon coated mesh style heating element.

Meh I'm highly skeptical, I'm more inclined to believe this falls along the hype that was the Altus. I'm going to let someone else be a Guinea Pig

I saw a video of the plates heating and they glow just like a coil does so it does look like its got potential.

I'm not so convinced about the whole self cleaning thing though. It might have a nice non stick surface but I bet it will need a wipe when you change the cotton just like a non stick frying pan usually needs a gentle wipe. when you rinse it off.

It might well be good, but I think they are over promising a bit and people will end up being disappointed when it doesn't meet the ridiculously high expectations they are setting.

Think I will do the the same as you and wait and see what real people say about it
