This challenge will close tomorrow 4pm EST (9PM GMT+1 or BST)...we will roll after the challenge closes
if you have more than one beater post them up, to add clarity to the random roll on this one... if you have more than one type of beater you are eligible to be rolled again in the following prize pot.
For Example purposes... 5150 could be elible to receive a prize from purecoils, Wotofo and HG with his three submissions (if he gets a prize in any of the three pots his winning entry will be removed before the next roll to make it fair for everyone else)
No one person will be eligible to get multiples of the same prize type, being there are three sets of prizes for Wotofo and HG ...5150 in this situation would have his winning submission removed, as well as the other entries until we roll in the next prize pot where the remaining two entries will be added back in to the roll
So it will go like this...
Purecoils - 1 prize everyone is rolled, award announced
Wotofo - 3 prizes, everyone except winning entry selected from above is then rolled, if a member gets selected for a prize and has more than one entry left they are temporarily removed for the next roll to make sure they don’t get two of the same prize.

While this doesnt qualify for the contest it is relevant to it and a testament to Aspire hardware.
I was cleaning out a few ice chests a couple weekends ago and found this AIO in a sandwich bag full of water in one of them. It had been submerged so long the paint is slipping off and the coil is rusted to the cap. I put it in a rice bag for a week and decided to charge it. Of course it turns on and with the coil in it actually produces smoke (real smoke, not vapor).
Im not at all sure how this is possible and there is no reason it should work but it does.

Who knows. I am sure we were on water somewhere and someone set it down in the ice chest (probably me). I usually keep a little beater in a bag when doing anything water related and just open it up, puff and then seal it again. I probably threw it in there when we were unloading or something. I don't even remember this mod so who knows.
I just cant believe it actually powers on and works. There is a battery port on the backside so I know it was at least full of water.
Second entry. I almost forgot about this old beater mod. Rarely use it since its an office mod. Kinda backup mod when I'm at office, if the main mod somehow don't want to work, this Hana will be used. Its a clone Hana anyway, can't afford to buy the original. Strange that now max watt reading is at 32W. I swear its 50W back in 2014 lol.
I can't wait any longer!

Our first Challenge has ended!
Firstly if you’ll just bear with me....before I announce the rolls, the whole challenge team and I would like thank each and every one of you for contributing, or even if you just popped your head to take a look around.
Our collective team vision is to grow this area as a community hub, to meet new people, welcome new members to the forum (hence its location), entice people out of their normal posting areas, and even help those stuck in a rut...this is where the challenge team concept was born.
We have a fair few ideas floating around in the pot for the future, including those who have kindly offered ideas already....for now we will be running one of these a month (hopefully with some goodies too) in order to allow plenty of time for community engagement, and importantly so we don’t burn out with it all.
In the meantime being this is our intro and very first challenge, I’d like to take a moment to give a shout out to the whole Challenge Team, who without their help, ideas, support and input our new community section would have remained a humble pipe dream....A massive thanks to

At the moment the team want to get a few challenges under our belts, see type of activity and level of engagement to take learnings from it before we start thinking about ways to best approach this aspect.
