Joe and Anthony Russo, the directors behind Marvel's Captain America: Civil War, will be adapting cult-classic gang film The Warriors as an hourlong television drama series for Hulu.
For Paramount TV and Hulu, the brothers will honor the 1979 film — which was, itself, an adaptation of Sol Yurick's novel of the same name — "while adding
own unique brand of grit, pulp, sex, and violence," according to Deadline. Writer Frank Baldwin will work with the Russo brothers on the script. No director has been named.
