waa, why does everything turn into a forum post and a big project for me.
I have a realoux DNA200. It takes a charge up to 1Amp. I have a wall adapter for my cell phone which is only 750mAh (.75A) output. I have another wall adapter 1000mAh output. Both are UL logo branded. I only use UL branded wall adapters (for safety reasons, and I do trust UL more than CE branded).
The 3' cord that comes with the reloux is great, nice and thick and it gives up to 1A charging and it pops into the micro USB port nice and snugly but it's not long enough for me to passthrough vape. I need 5-6 feet.
I have a long cheap green ribbon cable I got from ebay from china for like 99 cents but it doesn't charge the DNA200 more than like .5 Amp (the mod's screen shows charging current). I tried all combinations with the wires and wall adapters I mentioned above but the only way I can get 1A current is with the short cord included with the realoux DNA200.
So do I just buy any 1Amp micro usb cable from ebay? I shocked the long green ribbon one I got from ebay for 99 cents doesn't even give 1A. This just means they skimped on the copper/metal internals hence why it can't carry even 1 Amp.
If I but a cord on ebay claiming to be 1A on but my DNA200 screen doesn't show it charging that high, it's not as described? (and therefore free). I don't want free, I just want a thick 1A, but for some reason I can't find that.
I know the DNA200 will only take upwards of .99A when the batteries are low. The more charged they get, the lower the current it takes form the charger and eventualyl only shows it taking about .1A, but that's not why I'm only getting only about .5A max from the cheap ebay 99 green ribbon wire I already had.
This cord linked isn't thick but I might have to get unless it's highly not recommended for some reason. I don't think what I'm looking for should cost more than just a few dollars shipped form China.
In drop down as "Other micro usb android phone" 6 feet (because all the phones in the drop down are just sort of click bait and confusion but possibly some of the choices would lead to getting only a .5A cord).
because strangely, if I search ebay for the following with prices starting from lowest, I find almost nothing for just a few dollars or without added things I don't need.
1A micro usb -car -board -module -wall
1Amp micro usb -car -board -module -wall
1A micro usb -car -board -module -wall
1 Amp micro usb -car -board -module -wall

Actually, forget most of what I wrote above because 1A isn't popular and I should have searched for 2A and this will be perfectly safe because the DNA200 board safety will cap the current at 1amp, right? Or is it safer to get a 1A?
I should just get this 2Amp "thick" one?
